As established, her husband wasn't a talker. He seemed to 'talk' more when it came to gestures. Not even his eyes were easy to read.
To see him in the flesh after 5 years, was a bit nerve racking on parents day no less.
"No way! you mean he actually exist?!"
"I refuse to believe this is happening!"
She wonders why he decided to show up now, it couldn't be because of the voicemail—she left tons of those along with messages that were still on delivered. Even now as he shifts his weight, slipping his hand out his pocket and placing it on her head.
She still couldn't read him, it muddled with her brain. She hated the way his touch turned her to a voiceless glob of mush.
He leaned in close, parting his lips to speak words only she could hear. She couldn't focus—everyone was watching, gossiping more than before, the women were left to wallow in their jealousy.
Her cheeks warmed, nose catching wind of the various soaps, he uses. He whispers a few words, then leans back, digging through his pocket and dangling whatever he pulled out his pocket in front of Izuku.
Izuku reaches for the item, drying his tears as the teacher collected themselves.
The item happened to be a keychain that hasn't been released to the public yet and set to be released a month from now, only having 109 available for purchase.
All might keychain.
He stand, hands back in his pocket, glancing at the adults that circle them, shifting his weight once more.
He spoke, his voice gave then shivers "I'm (Name) Midoriya, please take care of me"
He sat an a empty chair crossing his legs, folding his arms with a smoldering gaze, as if he challenge someone to say something.
Once again the teacher clasps their hands, recovering from their shock, the women's whispers not exactly whispers, like they're talking loudly on purpose.
"That can't be him! She probably paid him to pose as her husband"
"With what money?"
Their words, mattered little to him. If anything he'd pretend to be deaf, there words nothing but the buzzing of the common house fly.
Yet looking over to Inko, the woman who had to endure these insults for years to make sure her child had a blast on parents day.
He remembers his grandmother, hitting him upside the head, pulling his ear, and berating him for all he's worth. Berating him for leaving his wife and child for such foolish and selfish reason.
Berating him for his lack of empathy and misunderstanding of emotions.
Inko trembles and shakes, holding onto the hem of her skirt. Though not physical, they still hurt.
The teachers turns a blind eye to this. (Name) can't wait to see the look on their face when the generous donations to the school cease to exist.
Releasing a huff, he offers his hand. Which she weakly grasp. She honestly expected him to be a bit more standoffish-considering he's not the one for touch even if his 'love language' is physical touch.
His brows pursed together, a sharp glare thrown over his shoulder making their zip their mouth shut and cower.
He tugged her to her toes, making her fall on him, "we're leaving" a simple snap of his fingers was enough to make Izuku look up and grab his things to toddle after them.
