Hera ran back to the palace and raced to her chamber. She was dead tired so she took a long nap. When she came down for breakfast the next morning. Her mother and father where already there. "Good morning dear." Said the queen. The king had finished his breakfast and called for the mail. A servant rushed in with the mail in his hands. The king opened the letter. As he read it, his jaw dropped. "Dear! The marriage is off!" "What?" Said the queen. " They've declared war on us!" Shouted the king. "Ready the mortars, the canons, the archers! Prepare for battle!" He shouted. Hera was stunned. This was not what she wanted! Zarzuelas lied to her! She had to go see him to make him reverse the spell. She ran toward the castle doors. But a knight caught her by the arm. "This is no place for a woman." He said. Then the king through a key to the knight. "Lock her in her room! And don't let her out! She needs to stay safe!" The knight nodded. He dragged Hera to her room and locked her in. I'll get that night back for this. She thought.
