  The next evening I was able to go home with requests/demands to take it easy Sue signed me a slip for school and told Charlie to pick up my prenatal vitamins on the way home to which he just awkwardly nodded to a bolted to the car.

"Alright you need anything water,pillows,food I can make something...oh hell let's be real I can ask Sue to make something and bring it over Billy and Jake are coming over later anyway" I smile at him for trying and tell him to ask Sue to make something if she wants and head up to my room I flop down on my back and look up to my ceiling closing my eyes and taking in the peacefulness. Tap...tap...tap tap tap.

I sit up quickly and look to the window just in time so see a rock hit the glass my breath hitches and my heart starts pounding I spell open the window and wait for a few minutes I start to think I just hallucinated the whole thing until Some large man jumps through my window scaring me so bad I throw the first thing I see...which just so happens to be my grimore, whoops.

"Ow what the fuck Hunter!?" Wait Paul? "Lahote what the hell are you doing?" he rubs his forehead seemingly confused as to why it had hurt him "You were in the hospital and you're dad wouldn't let me come over earlier...why the fuck did you throw a book at me and why is it so big?" I scoff "I thought you were a predator!" He laughs now "a predator!?-" I'm laughing now too "yes dumbass you see some large muscle man climb through your second story window see what you throw!" The laughter has died down now  we just stand in silence for I while Paul looking anywhere but at me. Until I clear my throat and he looks me in the eyes on instinct his body goes Ridgid. "What do you want Paul?" I whisper. "To see if you're okay. Like I said your dad wouldn't let me see you" I smile when he calls Charlie my dad he always had even though I told him Charlie was my uncle he'd just say only dad you've ever known.

"Well thanks I'm fine-" I stop and think of what She said earlier "actually I need to tell you something." He looks at me a little scared for me or of me I'm not sure, and then I think Paul doesn't need this with everything going on in his life with his dad and Sam and his pack watching him... actually they stopped around the same time Paul broke up with me. Guess that means he shifted which means he really doesn't need me telling him about the baby.

"Nevermind don't worry about it" he just nods although he definitely wants to ask what's wrong "alright tell your dad and lee- I mean Bella I said hi" I furrow my brows in confusion "Bella's not..." 'oh he can hear the baby's heartbeat' I start to cry thinking about it wishing I could hear it too. He rushes to hug me fast but I back away in fear that if he gets to close he'll realize what I'm hiding he looks disappointed "I'm sorry..." I just sit there on the floor waiting for him to leave so I can cry harder.
 
The next morning I wake up to Bella slamming my door open I sit up fast I'm hit like a truck with horrible nausea a splitting headache and an urge to hit a certain brunette in the face. She glares at me "wakey wakey whore just cause you're pregnant doesn't mean you can be lazy" I groan and lie back down tell trying not to throw up and it getting worse by the minute "hey wake the fuck up it's my birthday and I'm trying to get to school early to see Edward" she kicks the bed growling at me like I just ruined her life plans. She goes to kick me again when Charlie walks in "Hey I thought I told you you weren't welcome in this house." He looks angry,Bella just mumbles something incoherent and rushes out I hear her crappy truck on the way out.

I sigh "so I'm guessing she wasn't invited to take me to school" he just shakes his head " how bout we go down and see Billy and Jake I think he has his friends over?"
