Rejected: The final episode

-Kinda long chapter (comparatively anyway)-

"Sakusa kun! You should have a drink!" Bokuto said, he and the other third years managed to get their hands on some beer, who was gonna know anyway
"I'll pass" He dismissed 
"Oh don't be like that!" He said 
"Since we're here, why don't we play a little game?" Kuroo asked 
"game?"
"yeah! We'll ask questions, like never have I ever, and every time its a yes, you have to take a drink!" He said holding up a cup
"That sounds like a great idea!" Bokuto said 
"No it doesn't-" Osamu and kenma simultaneously answered
"It's an amazing idea!!" atsumu said 
"it's a terrible idea" Akaashi muttered, sakusa nodded  
"It'll be fun to see where it goes" Haru said and his girlfriend agreed 
"Well I guess majority rules?" I said shrugging, instantly earning a glare from sakusa and keiji 
"Yes! Majority rules me and konoha are in too!!" She said from next to me 
"Oh great..." Kenma rolled his eye

"Oh! Oh! I'll go first, never have I ever, made out in a classroom!" Bokuto said.
Kuroo, sakusa, konoha, aki, tsumu , keiji including me took a drink. 
"What-?" Me and konoha said out loud
"Sakusa-kun you-" Atsumu started 
"What? I'm a guy you know...." He responded 
"Nevermind sakusa!" and I'll do a favor for myself ignoring keiji "Aki?! Koonoha?!  You two really-really?!" I said excited 

"ah well-""It was like a spur of the moment thing you know?""It was just for a dare my-"
"Oh!! Are you two dating now?!" Bokuto asked
"H-huh?! What- no way!" "ha..ha yeah!" 
"then you should!" Kou said without giving it much thought
"I- Kou-kun! You know how-" Konoha was cut off when aki stood up and excused herself to the backyard 
"Aki- Konoha! go kiss her again! you know like those cheezy romance movies!" I said smirking
"What?! She doesn't like those movies!" 
"I know her better, kid, go!!" I said 
"really?"
"Well, as long as you aren't, you know, too cheesy-" I said
"This is too much-"
"Go!" I pushed him up, he sighed dramatically and opened the front door, leaving

"I told you this was a great idea!" Atsumu said 
"Let's continue then!" "Never have I ever, edited a article to win an argumen"
Guilty as charged, i took a sip down along with haru, osamu and mei

This went on for a bit

"Never have I ever been rejected by the same person twice" Kenma glared down at kuroo, probably mad about why he was dragged into this.
"ah- kenma~ Don't need to use so much force-" Kuroo sighed, chugging down a cup
"Oh..." I sighed silently taking mine as well
"Y/n- san? Who rejected you?" Kenma asked curious "twice too! Which idiot!" Kuroo said dramatically 
"Ah... haha more than twice if we're saying really." I shrugged awkwardly and whispered under my breath 
Sakusa scoffed, that jerk-!
"Akaashi," mei answered for me, half drunk and in harus arms who was desperately trying to keep her steady while not looking like an idiot
"Akaashi?" Kenma asked shocked. "Why him of all-" Kuroo rolled his eyes 
"Right?! I asked her that too!! She wouldn't listen! I mean she's like, way better off without him, and every time I say that, she says, akaashi is so perfect and what not!" Mei starts mumbling and ranting about all sorts of things after that

"What?! No way! Keiji said that?!" Kuroo asked way too into the story mei was talking off on.
"He did! And what's worse, y/n said it was ok and he was just not in the right mood!"
"Keiji-kun!" Kuroo exclaimed 
"I don't see her romantically! What do you want me to do about it?!" Keiji said in his defense 
"But why?! Y/n is pretty! And nice! And friendly!"
"And she is a great friend. Nothing more" He rolled his eyes
Ouch.
"Let's keep asking-" Haru suggested, but kuroo atsumu and mei were way too into the story and osamu too. Kenma somehow managed to fall asleep on the couch. Keiji sighed every three minutes and I couldn't help but feel bad

"I'll step out for a bit"
I sighed and got up, and out

Keiji akaashi, huh?

I rested my weight on the pillar and looked out. 
"What happened? Thought you liked the idea?" Sakusa said startling the living shit out of me
So startled my good for nothing purse flew on to his face

He caught it with his right hand

"Oh my god you scarred me" I sighed 
"Yeah, i can see that" He gave back my purse "If I were a criminal I would've took that purse and ran, you know?" He said and I rolled my eye
"Yeah? The only thing you're stealing would be my heart" I said playfully 
"And the purse too" He said 
"Yeah yeah, and the empty purse" I said laughing
"It's pretty heavy for an empty purse-" He said 
"It went along with my outfit and I thought it looked good so I took it, and so that I could throw it at anyone who comes scaring me like you did too" I said 
"Well that was a bad strategy now you know"
"Heh  yeah, by the way, that was hot" I said smirking
"What-"
"The way you grabbed it with your right arm like a hero or something"
"You find the weirdest things hot. I'm not surprised" He said rolling his eyes
"You keep rolling you're eyes and it's gonna get stuck there one day" I said looking back outside 
"I'm sure you know better ways to do that than me" He said, now leaning on the other pillar
"Oh? what's this? sakusa~" i said teasingly 
"tch, never mind, that wasn't like me at all" He said as he fixed hi mask

"hey! I like that though, you flirting with me is rare and I'd like to treasure it with my heart and soul" I said proudly huffing 
"Oh? You're gonna forget about keiji just like that?" he said
I fell silent

"You aren't gonna say anything back?" He asked 
"Ahh sakusa, you're just gonna burn me anyway, what's the point" I sighed shifting my legs 
"You make a valid point, still it's new to see you not getting defensive about him" He says looking at me now
"It's hard to you know, keeping on trying to reason and trying to explain each of his actions in the way that seems most convenient"
"You did it for a at least a good five years now, haven't you? whatever took you so long....?" He asked lightly, not meaning anything behind the words
"Even mei thinks I'm stupid" I sighed "And she's someone who can't put two brain cells together" I said 
"Stupid you say?" sakusa asked "Even I think you are, pretty sure half the population would if they knew you" He smirked 

"I'd give you an award for being the best at roasting the living shit out of people, but that would boost your ego" I said 
"I wouldn't touch an award that hasn't been sanitized, don't worry about that ever happening" He said "And? What happened?" he asked 
"Every time keiji rejects me! That happened! And today yet again with more people looking at me like I'm a clown! Even haru thinks so even if he doesn't say anything about it, he's too nice for his own good" I said taking out a nearby chair and siting on it, keeping my head on the railing with my hands for support
"Well, there isn't much you're willing to do about it" He said dragging the chair and sitting as well, sanitizing right after

"Willing to do about it you say? You say it like theres some thing i can  in fact do about it" I said turning my head to look at him 
"there should be. Try thinking back at what you like about him"
"he's an angel, what more could you want" I rolled my eyes looking back
"Well, akaashi is too blunt and can be rude, I don't think any angel does that" Sakusa said 
"He isn't rude," I protested 
"He is. You just over look it, considering how many times he's turned you down, I'll assume he's got pissed off at you at least once, no?"
He made a valid point
"But that was because I annoy him too much"
"I'll go as far as to guess he never came to apologize to you after wards?" 
"It wasn't his fault!" I said 
"How did the people around react to it?" He asked 
"They looked at me weird" I said 
"And you think he should have shouted at you in front of them all?" 
"It was because I was talking to him when he had other things to do!" I said leaning back on the chair, uncomfortable 
"He hurt your feelings, he humiliated you, in front of others might I add, never apologized, and is blunt with you, no one else" He stated all at once
"It was my fault!" I said again
"You think so?"

Fuck you, but god damn you're not entirely wrong

"You wouldn't understand" I said sighing
"Yeah you're probably right, sorry" He sighed as well 
"Don't apologize, you aren't wrong, completely" 
"I know." he said smugly 
"That was not what you were supposed to say according to the many movies I have watched." I said huffing 
"Oh? Then what was I supposed to say?" He said

"looks like she'll get over him soon" Aki said 
"I wonder na" Konoha sighed 
"Well I mean getting all that drilled into her head, probably should've fixed a thing or two" She said 
"I hope so"
