Once Upon a Mutual Relationship

HIS FRIEND

"I want you to date my friend."

What?  and the only thing in my mind is... Hindi niya na nga ako mahal.. For him to say those words. He's not happy with me anymore.. His friend, mas mahal niya kaibigan niya kesa sakin? For now, kailangan ko munang alamin at intindihin ang lahat.

Why? What happened? I asked. I hope this is not some prank. I hope he has a good reason.

"He has this illness, a cancer. There's a large tumor in his head." Ah.. That's really sad. Now I get it. "I know you have a beautiful soul and it's you that I trust." So, you're giving me to him. Now that I finally have you in my life? Now that we're happy together? What about you?  "I want you to know that I love you and please help me, help him." This is hard. 

What about you? Does he know that you have a girlfriend? Does he know about me? About us? This is really hard. For both of us. 

"Yeah he knows that I have a girlfriend but he doesn't know that it's you." It's really painful to hear that. He didn't show me to his friend. 

After telling me all about his friend, I realized how much he valued their relationship. He loved him... Now we're having a BL situation?  Come on! This is my story not theirs!! But I know that we need their perspectives. He met him 10 years ago. High school. (By the way 2022 ngayon. So yeah 23 si Rain at 22 si Sky.)

Second week of June 2010. 

Hi! Shiu Saludes. 13. Nice to meet you.

"Mr. Saludes take you're seat at the back. " 

Yes Ma'am. While walking to reach my seat, this guy keeps looking at me like he's relieved about something for me. After taking my seat, he talked to me.

"Hey transferee, meet me in the cafeteria." What now? I have a bad feeling about this. You know, the disadvantages of being a transferee... Well, I guess I have to see. 

Okay. What time? I said lazily. 

"9" Who's this guy? He talked like he knew me before. His tone is familiar. I looked for his name tag. Ilustre, Sky. Even his name is familiar. Have we met before?

Call. I have to know him. There's this feeling of longing for him and I must know what this feelings are.

At the cafeteria,,,

"You're Shu, right?" I knew it! He knew me before.

How do you know my nick name? 

"It's Kai. You're childhood friend, remember?" Ah,, he's one of the forgotten friend. I'm sorry for not remembering you. If he's really a friend of mine, he'll understand me.
