Rue: 

Nate and Rain had some very similar traits which scared the fuck out of everybody. They were both tall and strong. They both had some very bad anger issues, but Rains was genetic. The most thing that they had in common was their shared daddy issues. Though different there were still issues. 

Once Rain and Nate got into a fight and no one wanted to be around for the outcome. It didn't get physical, but Rain said some shit that made Nate tick. Then there was Maddy. Maddy had always had Nate, but Nate never had Maddy. Rain brought it up and I quote, "I bet you couldn't even satisfy a girl. That's probably why Maddy always fucks around."  They've hated each other ever since.

They both love the crowds at their games. Rain absolutely loved soccer, it was just a fact. They were both players, protective, possessive, Nate more than Rain. The only difference is that Rain was diagnosed with her issues and Nate was just...Nate. 

Nothing made Rain tick more than Nate Jacobs and Vice versa. 

Narrator's POV:

Rain hated school more than the average person. Parties were different because she was high and the music moved her body. The school was just fucking boring to her. She was very reluctant to even get out of Ryan's car.

The first class was obviously bull shit. The second period was the easiest because it was Spanish and she was fluent in Spanish since she was three. She's trying to get Jaedin to learn it too. The bell rang for Theatre which is one of the classes she had with Rue and Lexi. The teacher asked Rue to tell her a memory about her summer which brought only one memory to Rain's mind.

Flashback:

Rain walked into the hospital room with a cup of cranberry juice and a tear-stained face. Rue had scared the fuck out of her and she made sure to tell her. "You can't keep doin' this shit, Rue." Rain told her as she sat down. This pissed Rue off to no extent.

"Why? You scared I'm gonna turn out like your mom? Look at me I'm not dead." Rue snapped. " You might not be dead but you're still a fucked up druggie. Who are you gonna disappoint next, Huh Rue!" Rain snapped back.

"Me a disappointment? You're a fucking disappointment. You had a fucking kid at sixteen and still can't be a good mom. I mean look at the example you had!" Rue chuckled sarcastically. "Fuck you, Rue." Then Rain stormed out of the room.

Flashback over.

Rue and Rain locked eyes for a split second before Rue walked off the stage. "Honestly, I think it's brain damage." Some girl said in the back. "The fuck you just say?" Rain asked standing up and walking over to the girl.

"I said she's probably a mess because of brain damage." The girl snarked standing up. Rain still towered over her though, at 6"4 the girl was like 5"3. Rain grabbed the girl by her shirt and pulled her up before throwing her like she was a ragdoll. She was about to step on the girl's face when Lexi pulled her back. So, she spat on her instead and stormed out of the theatre.

Fuck school.

When Rain got home her skin was itching. She walked into the bathroom and looked for her prescriptions. She grabbed the bottles and noticed they were empty. The Adderall, Percosets, Lithium, the medicine she needed to stay sane and not become a serial killer. 

She stormed into the living room where her dad was asleep and kicked his leg hard. He woke up and looked at her like she was crazy, which she was.

"Dónde están!?" (Where are they?) She yelled. "dónde es qué?" (Where is what?) He yelled back. "¿Dónde está mi medicina, Alejandro?" (Where is my medicine Alejandro) He got up at the use of his name.

"Los vendí." ( I sold them.) Rain looked at him with angry eyes. He pointed at her, "No me llames Alejandro, soy tu padre." (Don't call me Alejandro, I am your father.)

She grabbed his finger. " Don't point your finger at fucking crazy people!" She advised. Ryan walked in with Jaedin after picking him up from daycare. He could sense the tension and tried to leave before anything happened. It was too late. Alejandro swung at Rain, knocking her to the floor.

Jaedin ran up to him and kicked him in the shin. "Don touch my mommy!" He screamed. Alejandro kicked Jaedin away from him into the table knocking the air out of the little boy. Rain looked from her son to her dad and stood up.

Ryan rushed over to Jaedin as Rain stood up and started beating the fuck out of Alejandro. She left him on the brink of death his face very bloody. This was the last straw. She went into her room and started packing her and Jaedin's shit. Once she was done she grabbed her baby boy and told Ryan to drive to Fezcos house. She gently stroked Jaedin's curly hair as he whimpered.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she soothingly rubbed his back with her other hand.

Fez answered the door and immediately brought them into a hug. He was pissed off, Rain was even more pissed off. Ryan got a call saying that Roman was getting out so he had to go get him. Ash took Jaedin to the room in the back and laid the boy down. 

Rain explained everything to Fez and he with no hesitation let them stay. Rain was family so was Rue. He'd do anything for them.

Since Rain was off her medications she felt numb. She had no emotions but she tried for Jaedin. She was sitting in the cafeteria as the coach screamed. It all became background noise as Maddy came down the stairs in her cheer uniform. Has she always been this beautiful? Maybe she has and Rain just hadn't noticed.

They locked eyes for a long minute while she did her routine. Everything faded into background noise as Maddy looked at Rain. She knew that Rain and Nate basically hated each other, but besides that and the car ride to McKay's Maddy has never noticed her. This was like the perfect person to get Nate jealous with when the time comes.

And the time will come.

Fez told Rain that she and Jaedin had to find somewhere else to stay for a couple of hours. Jaedin was with Ryan and Roman catching up with his other uncle. Rain decided to go over to Lexi's house except when she got there Cassie answered the door.

"Hey, Cass, Lex here?" She asks. "No, she stayed after school," Cassie answered. "ok, I guess I'll come back later." Rain smiled and went to walk away. "Or you could stay." Cassie sounded hopeful and Rain didn't have anything better to do so she did stay. 

She didn't know she'd end up naked with Cassie Howard.
