a/n: i was planning to never dig this up to publish again due to some reasons of remembering a bad event in my life that occurred each time i'll see this story, but i figured out that even if that event sucked too much enough, i shouldn't quickly remove this story that i made just because of it.
i shouldn't be letting an outside factor change my decisions just because of an event that i despised.
and i figured out that you guys loved this one-shot so much, so i decided to publish this again without editing a single thing except for the author's note.
so please do enjoy reading/re-reading this previous valentine one-shot of mine! ♡

"wah, wow."
namjoon rose his hand, measuring the piece of strawberry in his finger, muttering. "hyung, your relatives' strawberry farm is sure great."
at the very day of winter in south korea when bangtan were finally having their well-deserved rest, namjoon had decided to tag along with seokjin on his way to his grandparents, seeing the strawberry farm that jin keeps on bragging about for so long in the group.
now that the two of them are here, he can finally see why seokjin was so proud of it, considering how the farm was well organized, with the strawberries growing well, taken good care of.
turning to the eldest member casually picking the strawberries, shooting it in his basket, namjoon could only murmur. "can you eat it after plucking it straight from the farm?"
he heard a chuckle from seokjin, nodding in reply as he mutters. "it's taken good care of, but of course it's better to wash it even if it's this natural."
namjoon grins, following him like a puppy with his own basket, helping him out. "you seem so experienced plucking all of these."
"well, every time i head here-" seokjin was supposed to continue, but namjoon interfered. "you'll bring home tons of it, sharing it in the group."
with that, he received an amused chuckle from seokjin, nodding in reply. "it's very sweet, though?"
"yeah, that's why i was curious about the farm!" namjoon continues talking about the joy inside the place, plucking the pieces with seokjin, until he muttered. "quite confused of who's the strawberry hoarder within' the members though..."
"huh?"
seokjin was out of his traces, finally hearing namjoon talking after a while, now sitting at the nearby bench to rest with the leader sitting beside him.
"there's this mystery under the strawberry case..." namjoon whispers comically, turning to the eldest to see him raising his brow out of confusion, motioning him to go on.
"for the four times that you've went and brought these in boxes..." namjoon speaks, receiving a nod from seokjin. "another day will pass, and half of the strawberry pieces in a box were missing already."
...
silence.
"really?" seokjin was quick to frown, turning his head away from namjoon to scratch his cheek, whispering. "maybe the kids were just eating it during midnight? that's not a big deal at all." he explains, hearing namjoon clicking his tongue in reply, thoroughly not convinced as he shook his head.
"not really hyung, i've been thinking about it for days, really." he swore as a whole, trying to catch jin's eyes for empathy, but the eldest member could only chuckle in his silly testaments, standing up from the bench.
