Little Levy And The Big Dragon

'What! How could this have happened' I think in fear. Looking over at 'The Dragon' sleeping under my favourite tree. I look back in memory , I was leaving my school 'FairyTail High'......

"Hey Levy!" My best friend Lucy called out to me. I snap out of my daydreams about books ,to see her looking at me happily but also a worried. "What's wrong Lucy?" I ask ,worriedly searching her face ,wishing I could read the look on her face. "Well.....um ummm" she takes a deep breath "NATSU-ASKED-ME-OUT"....'What?'.

It took me a minute to reliese what she said but when I did. "Oh my gosh! Good for you" I squeezed her in a hug she hugged me back ,still bright red. "But why do you look upset though?" I ask her puzzled ,pulling back to see her face. "I am really nervous and could totally embarrass myself if I go alone so, can you come with me!" She pleads, hands clasped together in front of her ,like I am a new favourite God to pray to. I feel my expression turn hard "No, this is between you and Natsu" I say sternly. "But Lev-" I cut her off ,"Lucy its Natsu the most excepting guy out there and also the most dense" I say to her "The fact that he sees you as more than a friend means that you are very special to him" . Lucy looks down "But what if he realises that he doesn't like me and he only sees me as friend" this is starting to irritate me " Lucy! The fact that you have an actual chance with the guy you have had a crush on in forever ,can get anyone jealous so you go to that date and tell him how you feel about him!" I lecture her. 'Sometimes she's as dense as Natsu' I start to laugh 'They are definitely made of each other' Lucy gives up and leaves to get ready for her date with Natsu.

After that I started walking to my favourite spot to, sit and read, the Great tree in Magnolia. (Don't know if that is what it is really called) I was reading as I go ,don't ask how I made my way to the tree unscathed. It's a skill I have ,I can read and walk anywhere and never get hurt. Anyway because of this I didn't see who was at the tree before I was right underneath it. I snap out of my flashback and go back to reality.

'If only I had gone with Lucy I wouldn't have to encounter this , I know I still wouldn't have gone , this is her chance' I sigh quietly so he doesn't wake up.
'He is 'The Dragon' one of the well known students at the vicious school 'Phantom High'. Gajeel Redfox , he is well known for being a brutal and violent.
And he is sleeping under my tree....'
Surprisingly he doesn't look as bad as they tell you when they say The Dragon with studs on his face like scales ,scars from his fights with humans which he wins with an iron fist. But worst of all are those eyes that are looking for blood, that glint with flaming fury like a dragons. Maybe it's because I haven't seen his eyes yet but although he does looks very scary I do not believe that he is all bad.... Maybe.

'Anyway, I want to read and he doesn't look like he is waking up anytime soon s-' . I trip on a stick as I was moving to sit at the tree. There is big thud when I fell and I also snapped the stick that I tripped on....'Oh...no' I hear the sound of a certain someone waking up and just when I am about to escape. I am picked up by the back of one of my favourite orange dress. I feel myself grow stiff with fear as I am lifted higher and higher. My gaze being moved closer and closer to that persons face. I try to swallow but there is a large lump in my throat as it starts to grow dry. Fear making my hair stand on end and my body grow cold 'I hope I am not shaking on the outside as well as the inside'.

I finally see his face and my eyes get trapped in his. His face has turned into a dark sinister smirk and I can see what they meant about his eyes. They are tearing into mine and I there is no escape.
He opened his mouth to say something "Didn't they ever tell you to never wake a sleeping dragon" his deep voice sinking me in ,like his red eyes. I don't reply, I can't, I have lost my voice and that lump in my throat won't go away. He snickers "Not even going to apologise, how rude" "Now how are you going to pay me back ,after all I was in the middle of a very enjoyable dre-" "I am not" 'What I'm not? What am I saying! I'm going to get myself killed!'. "You should be the one to apologise to me ,you stole my reading spot!" Gajeel seems a little stunned and I am freaking out telling myself to shut up.
But I continue "Why should I apologise where it's your fault for sleeping in such a silly place anyway" I shake myself of his hold and stare up at him gathered the things I dropped when he picked me up. "In fact you should be thanking me for waking you up before something bad happened-not-that-you-can't-handle-it!...." I am starting to snap out of whatever came over me and the fact that I am freaking out is starting to show so I back away slowly but growing faster. Gajeel's face changes from shocked to amusement and he starts the laugh. His laughter sounds funny like a bunch of 'Gi Hi's but I don't know if they is a good laugh or a bad laugh so I start to run away faster "Good bye! and stay away from my tree!" I yell out. I hear his laughter grow louder as I start to finally grow out of reach ,just as warmth starts creep up my face from embarrassment.
