Wooden cabin, lanterns glow
Spreading orange hue to clear white snow
That must have sifted through the door
When the storm came blazing through
I press my nose to the window glass
Watch it splatter as it douses grass
And see the woodman lumberingly pass
The rocky path that stretches home
The snowcapped trees from the forest fling
By a giant hand, stretched like a string
As a girthed troll comes marching in
With a hammer in his hands
But in a chilly moment he began to quiver
The giant troll did a sort of shiver
What luck that I could make a new friend
In the middle of a gloomy storm
The fire crackles from inside, and the tea is brewing hot
But adventure calls from outside, chilling the steaming broth
A deer fox, some elves, some trollish friends, together we do a lot
Wherever I go, excitement follows, adventure's all I got.
Such, is the life of an adventurer...
