"I'm glad you're awake..." She hugged me tight like she never did before. "Why did you do that, why did you ran away, what we're you thinking?"

"I-I'm so sorry..." I rested my chin against her shoulder. "I really don't know what am I doing earlier, I am sorry you have to see me like that..."

The hug went long until she spoke, "Your mom and dad visited yesterday, but they didn't wait for you to wake up because they wanted you to rest..."

"Yesterday, how long I have been sleeping?" I asked her while she was opening a cup noodles, good thing she had it prepare, I am so hungry.

"You we're asleep for three days..." She said, thats when I realized that she was wearing a uniform, I was about to ask when, "Yeah I just got lunch break from school..."

"Three days, but feels like it just happened yesterday..." I told her while looking at the window. "I dreamed about something..."

"About what?" She asked and passed me the cup noodles and gave me some disposable chopsticks, she sat on the foot board and waited for my next words. "Kairi, are you alright?"

"Yeah, I just dreamed about waking up without seeing anyone, I thought you have left me." I said, "But its now alright, you are here near me. I am now good..."

"Are you sure?" she asked, I know this isn't really a time to act like this but I just wanted her here beside me. Its too cheesy but I do like it, oh I mean I love it when she's around. "Kairi?"

"Yeah I am..." I smiled and looked at her hand, there is a bruise along with her leg that is now hanging against the hospital bed. "Mitsuki, what happened these passed three days?"

"Its no fun because you aren't around but guess what. I've met someone, his name was Takarabe Yugo and ah, he is a great person!" she laughed. "I got these bruises because the last day we ditched class and I fell down from the walls—"

"What, you fell down, what if your head bumps into something there, Mitsuki will you think of the things you are doing. I am not there to save you when you're in a big trouble!" I yelled but she just gave me a stare. "What?"

"Then what about the thing you did thats why you end up here?" she asked with a tone of sarcasm, now she knows how to fight back. I thought that guy he met was a great one, but seems to influence her bad shits. "Tell me, Kairi."

"That is totally out of the topic, Mitsuki. We are talking about you, and I am out of it. I know what I did wasn't good at all. But it isn't intentionally..." I said, while looking away. "I also had reasons why I acted like that."

"But you we're hiding it to me, I thought we will not hide anything from each other anymore, what friends are for if you're lying?" Her sarcasm is really a nerve, I can't take it this way, she finished her food and putted the cup on the bin. "I'm going..."

I didn't intend to follow her because she needs to go to school, and she will also tell me that I am not her father to tell her things and nag her though. I am used to it when she is so mad and sad at the same time.

I was hanging around when I heard the door knocked, and then I saw Ali entered my room. "Why are you here, don't you have any class today?"

"I excused for some reasons, but I need to go here first. To tell you that Mitsuki is being influenced by drugs, Kairi, you need to recover more fast and lets stop her together. I cannot do it by myself because she will not listen to me whatever I say." He said. "Please recover sooner."

"She wouldn't listen to me either, but I will try, when it comes to her, theres every way I could. I would do anything, even though I sacrifice everything." I said as I heard him tsked. "Why?"

"You really are in love with Mitsuki, you can't deny it anymore, Kairi. You are too obvious, but one thing for sure. She's numb, she cannot even feel you are concerned about anything about her..." he said, maybe he is really right. "But Kairi, why are you denying it?"

"I don't know, I guess I just better hide it from her..." I said, but despite of being calm. I can hear my fast breathing and pumping heart. "My head is yelling no but my heart is saying yes..."

"Sometimes you need to follow your heart instead of using your brain, because sometimes love wins more than anything. Maybe you can use your brain after following your heart, its hard at first but you can do it..." he said.

"I want to hide it, Ali. I don't want her to know anything about this, I know my feelings will be gone soon..." I said, "Do you know how long it will take before having the disease?"

"As far as I know, you just only have one day before having the disease. You have two choices, tell her or endure it..." he said and stood up. "Think of it, Kairi. I'm going..."

I nodded and looked at his back while thinking about having the disease,

Is it just normal?

Or when its getting late, there are some consequences to face?

Is it going to become worse?

I just want to hide it.

I don't want to ruin our friendship.

I sighed after deciding, all I want is her to be happy. I know she will not be if she knew about my feelings. We are friends and no other than that, maybe I chose the right thing for her.

Hide it, don't wanna ruin everything.
