Louis was in the studio late recording two songs for his second solo album. You were watching reruns of The Big Bang Theory, and finishing off your seconds of dinner. Louis wasn't due home for another hour and it was already 10:30 at night. So when the reruns stopped, you pushed your plate away and turned off the TV.

You just sat on the couch with the small bedside lamp on the coffee table beside you, waiting for your loving boyfriend to come home. Eventually you got sleepy and you began to fight your eyelids to stay open.

Soon you gave into sleep, dozing off on the couch, wrapped in a thin throw blanket from the closet. As you slept the time went by and Louis arrived home. He quietly walked into the living room to see you fast asleep on the couch from your failed attempt to wait up for him.

Chuckling, he takes your plate into the kitchen and leaves it in the sink. Louis puts down his work bag where it belongs and shrugged off his coat before turning his attention back to you. He sits down lightly beside you and gently tugs your body closer to his.

You mumble something incoherent in your sleep and snuggle deeper into Louis' chest. He smiles before wrapping one arm under your legs and placing the other behind your back, letting you fall back in his arms. He stood up before slowly making his way to the bedroom. You began to gain consciousness and he stops walking.

"Shhh it's just me. Go back to sleep babe" he whispered, and you closed your eyes again and drifted back off to sleep. Eventually he stops walking again at your side of the bed and gently plops you down before covering your small frame with the devet.

He walks over to his side and strips down to nothing but his boxers. He clambers into bed next to you and wriggled his way into the centre of the king size bed. Louis reached out and wrapped his strong arms around you, pulling you into his chest. You sighed contently in your sleep as he nuzzled his face into your neck.

"I love you baby... and don't you forget it."
