It had been around a week since y/n was put in life support, all 7 men visiting her everyday and sitting with her, jungkooks health was slowly deteriorating, watching his girlfriend being supported by a machine.
"Jungkook, we need you to sleep" Jin said softly, and jungkook only shook his head "I can't hyung" he looked to jin, his eyes red and swollen, the bags under his eyes dark.
Not long after a doctor came in, smiling softly "I have good news for you" the doctor stood in front of y/ns bed and jungkooks eyes snapped to the him. "We found a heart" there was gasps from all 7 boys, smiles now on their faces.
"we can give her the heart right now since there is an open slot, Mr jeon would you allow that?" the nurse asked and he nodded immediately. "of course, yes please do it as soon as possible"
the nurse nodded and called the doctors, them beginning to prepare y/n for the surgery. soon after taking her down to the operation room to start the operation on her.
after a couple of long hours, the doctors brought y/n back to the room, one doctor hooking her back up to an iv,another filling out some paperwork and slotting it into the file on the wall beside her bed.
"the surgery went well, she should be awake soon but she will be exhausted so please refrain from moving her and avoid stress, call us when she wakes and we can check to make sure she isnt in pain and give her a dose of injections to help defend from any infections." jungkook nods and sits beside y/n caressing her hand with his fingers, before smiling and kissing her hand.
"shes going to be okay, i told you she was strong kook" jimin says patting the youngers back and everyone nods "were gonna go and give you both time, text me what you both may need and one of us will call up with it" namjoon says, all the men except jungkook leaving the room.
"i cant wait to see you baby, ive missed you so much" he whispers and a doctor comes in with another bed, a young boy in it. "okay jasper, youll stay here, we will try and get in touch with your mom or dad to let them know youre safe, do you need anything?" the nurse asks the boy and he nods "could i have something to eat? i havent eaten in days..." jungkook overhears and turns around, holding an apple and some chips.
"you can have these if you want, i dont like barbeque pulled pork flavoured chips anyway" the young boy, jasper beams and claps "yes please!" the nurse chuckles and looks as jungkook hands him the food "please could you keep an eye on him, just until his parents arrive?" the nurse asks and he nods "of course, if i give you some money could you please get him a meal or something?" the nurse chuckles "meals are free mr jeon, since hes a patient here" "oh..." jungkook blushes in embarassment and rubs his neck, the nurse leaving the room
