It was just a letter which scared them all to their bones.The promise they made back then was also a sign that this was all over now,but that was until every teenager at Riverdale High had one of these books and even two of them were found dead in the woods.Their kids were in danger,all of them.
Hermoine was nervously tapping on her wine glass while holding the letter in her other hand,secretly wanting to rip it apart.
"So we all recieved letters." Tom broke the silence."To finish Ascention night."
"This was taped to my trailer." Fred threw his on the table.
"Mine came to the dealership." Marty added.
"Thought you caught the Gargoyle King,Fp." Hermoine faced him,who was just as dissapointed like they all were.
Alice turned her head to Fp,ready to protect him since he tried so much to catch the Gargoyle King, but ending up with the wrong one.
Fp looked down,fiddling with his sheriff hat."Tall Boy was using the game as a cover to deal drugs,but he wasn't the one setting up chalices back when we were in high school."
Hermoine looked insecure."We're not taking this seriously,are we?"
"I think we have to assume this is real,if only for our kids' sake." Tom answered her question,pulling Sierra even more tighter.
"And then what? We leave them home all alone all night while we run around,pretending to be some crazy teenagers?"
That was when Alice came up to word,finally letting them all know what was on her mind."May i remind you what happend last Ascension Night?Someone ended up dead!"
Penelope found that ridicilous,just like everything that came out of her mouth."We don't have any choice in the matter." Alice rolled her eyes,they were still enemies after all.
"We all know why this is happening again,and now.Two members of the original Midnight Club are daring to get married,to be happy." Tom and Sierra shared a quick look,but not stopping to listen.
"And the Gargoyle King,whoever or whatever he is,wants to destroy that.He is a vicious and petty god.And if we don't finish the game now,the Gargoyle King is never gonna leave us alone."
Fp sighed."Maybe if we do this we catch this son of a bitch."
"There is only one problem." Sierra added."The letter says,we all have to participate."
Nearly everyone turned their head back to Hermoine,knowing that there is someone who also was an original member of the Midnight Club.
"I'll talk to Hiram."
"Well its settled then.We finish the game we started." Tom said.
Everyone agreed,but also they didn't had an other opinion.If they wanted their children to be safe,they had to end the game they started a long time ago.

"Fp come on,this is ridicilous.There needs to be an other way to save our children! Who knows what will happen if we play it again?" Alice pointed out.She was sitting opposite to Fp in the Station.
Fp sighed loudly. "As much as i hate to say it,but we have to,Alice.We have to take the risk before our children do.May i remind you how crazy Jughead and Betty can be if it comes to this sort of crap."
Alice looked away.He was right,but she was scared that one of them could found dead laying in one of the class room's or something.
"You know the consequences,right?Don't tell me later that i should have told you.Im telling you now,so think about it again."
"Look,i know how scared you are because of what happend last time,but this time its different.There won't be any crazy teenagers who took fizzle rocks or something.Just some adults who want to end something forever to save the town and the kids from the dangers."
"Hopefully." Alice mumbled.
"Hey",Fp searched for her eyes."If anything should happen to you,trust me,im gonna fight.I won't let some crazy asshole let you scare for the rest of your life,not this time."
Alice smiled lightly. "Not just me,be careful for yourself too! I don't want for you to end up in the hospital or even worse."
Fp chuckled."Trust me,im not scared of that son of a bitch.If something should happen to anyone,its going to be him rotting his miserable life behind the bars."
"But what about Betty and Jughead?I told Betty so many times to keep her hands away from that game,she even promised me to not do that,but now they even found a bunker.God knows what happens in there.I don't want them to do these things we did back in their ages."
"Thats Betty and Jughead we are talking about.You know how they are,nothing we could say stop them.Lets see what happens after we end the game,maybe it will stop."
"I'm only doing that for them.If they weren't in this dangerous place where they are at the moment,i wouldn't even pronounce Gryphons and Gargoyles.''
''Me neither."
"Can we go home now?I really need some distraction from all this and I think Betty told me she would come a little later since she and Jug had some things to do at the Blue and Gold.'' Alice smirked.
He caught onto her plans really fast."Thought you would never ask."
