Me: Stella, Lillien, Mielle, Daphnel come here!
All of my best friends hurried to me. Of couse we'll be in one group this year. Not like the last few years, when we always had to split up.
Felin: Hey Joy!
Me: Ah, hey Felin! Are you gonna group up with Sina again?
Sina: Yup! After all we only have us two...
Me: Oh...are you only two in your group?
Felin: Looks like it.
Sina: But hey, this year the other part of the groups will be choosen by pulling a lose! That means we don't have to worry about that this year.
That's right. Sina and Felin don't find groups that fast in our class since they changed classes this year and haven't found many friends yet. All of their friends they already know are in the other classes of our grades.
Me: Hey, look! Xenia and Jade are also still looking for groupmates. Jade, Xenia! Can you guys come over here for a sec?
Xenia: Hey Joy. What's up?
Me: Looks like you guys are still looking for groupmates, huh?
Jade: Yeah...
Daphnel: Well, then why don't you group up with these two?
Mielle: That's a great idea. Felin and Sina are also still looking for other groupmates.
Jade: Really?
Felin: Well, yeah...
Xenia: That's great! Wanna join our group then?
Sina: Seriously?
Xenia: Yeah sure! Why not?
Jade: I wonder why no one else already asked you guys to join their group.
Felin: Watcha mean?
Jade: You guys are always so friendly and polite to everybody and it looked like you guys get along well with many in our class.
Lillien: Including the boys, am I right?
Xenia: Yeah, including our boys!
Sina: Oh...I-i didn't know that. But we'd really love to join your group!
Jade: Great! Now we're four people.
Felin: Yeah, thank you Joy!
Me: No prob! I mean after all we wanna have fun at this special project, right? So we should feel secured in our groups.
Xenia: Yay!
Mrs. Sijia: Alright students, time's up. Has everyone found a group?
All: Yes!
Mrs. Sijia: Then, please write down onto a note everyones name in the groups.
Everyone wrote down the names of the groupmembers and gave them into a box which Mrs. Sijia gave around.
Mrs. Sijia: Then let's start pulling loses.
She grabbed into a box and pulled out two notes.
Mrs. Sijia: And in our first group will be: Bella, Christine, Kathrin, Denise, Alex, Simon, Jim and Davide.
The boys cheered, while the girls of the group looked quiet disappointed.
Mrs. Sijia pulled out the next two notes.
Mrs. Sijia: Selin, Nadja, Karla, Lia, Felix, Nat, Killian and Theo.
The next two notes.
Mrs. Sijia: Felin, Sina, Jade, Xenia, Marco, Matt, Miguel, Mirko and Maxi.
"What?!", Felin and Jade yelled at the same time.
Wait....We're 33 students in this class and 25 are already in groups. So there are only... No way!
Me: Girls, I think we're in a group with-
Mrs. Sijia: And the last group will be: Joy, Stella, Mielle, Lilien, Daphnel, Alec, Levin and Aron.
Uncomprehending looks on our part.
Mrs. Sijia: Please stand in your groups so I can register it.
