"Charlie! For the last time WHY can't you just leave your stupid club?!" Grace ran her hands through her hair as she argued for the umpteenth time about Charlie being affiliated with the Raiders. "You think it's easy to just up and leave? I work for them and with them. I provide for us so you can look after Robyn and not have to worry about fuck all!" He sighs and walks past her to the counter to pour another coffee. "If we leave I can get a job in the city and we don't have to worry about anything that could potentially hurt us" Charlie sits down at the table and takes a big gulp of coffee. "Do we have to do this every single fucking day, Grace?" He sighs "What if I did leave? What then? When was the last time we kissed or fucked? Hell, when was the last time you let me hug you?" Grace's face turns red from embarrassment and looks out the window. "Fine... I'll drop it" She looks at Charlie who's rubbing his forehead then walks out of the house. Charlie sighs and gets up from the table, leaving his beer there and picking up Robyn who's watching the television quietly. "Hey kiddo, wanna go to the shop?" , "YUP!" The 4-year-old Robyn says.
A while later Charlie and Robyn arrive at the shop. The smell of oil and grease could fill your nose from a mile away. The morning sun shines through the garage windows as they walk through the doors. Jerry, a tall man with a big salty beard looks up from a bike and walks over. He taps Robyn on the nose and says hello. "Hi Jerrwy" She says with a giggle. Charlie walks towards the office and sets her down on the sofa. "Where's mummy, daddy?" Robyn says a few minutes later. Charlie looks up from a clipboard "Hm? Oh... She's just out kiddo. We'll go home later and she'll be home" She smiles and grabs her toys that are in a box beside the sofa.
It's around 5 pm when Charlie arrives back home. He opens the door and it's dark. No Grace, no dinner, nothing. Sighing he sets Robyn down and flicks on the lights and heads to the kitchen to find something to cook for dinner.
As he sets the table the front door opens and it's Grace. "Mummy!" Grace smiles and taps Robyn on the head and walks upstairs. "Robyn, come on. Dinner" Charlie sets her up at the table then grabs a beer from the fridge and sits down to eat. It's 2 am, Grace slips into Robyn's bedroom quietly. "Robyn, wake up Hunny" Her eyes slowly open and she makes a little moan. "Come on, we're going to go for a ride!" Grace grabs a backpack and throws some clothes in it. Taking Robyn by the hand they quietly slip out of the house to the car
