AN: things get a bit sexy but nothing graphic and no actual sex. You've been warned.

The movie had actually left Erin feeling slightly embarrassed from how emotional she felt. It had been much better than she'd expected. She smiled and felt slightly better on noting that Graham's eyes also looked a little wet.

"What?" He asked slightly defensively catching her staring.

Erin shook her head and her smile widened.

"Sensitivity is a really attractive quality in a bloke ye know."

Graham blushed slightly and rolled his eyes shaking his head.

It was getting late. Erin had to be back at the station to catch her train in 8 hours.

Erin looked at Graham shyly.

"Do you believe in all that fate stuff?"

Graham frowned.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

Erin hesitated suddenly unsure of herself. Her heart was pounding.

"Like in that film. I mean do you believe that there's one person for everyone. Two people that share such a deep connection from a totally random meeting that are destined to be together. Or do you think it's all random and we could be happy with lots of different people?"

Graham blushed and looked slightly taken aback.

"I'm not sure. Me and Damon have been friends since we were kids and he used to make fun of my romantic notions you know...one person meant for another. He said it was fairytale stuff. But I guess there's a part of me that would always rather believe in that than being a cynical bastard."

Erin's eyes widened.

"I love that about you. I'm a cynic through and through. I thought it was total shite. Pathetic actually. Until...until I saw you on that bathroom floor. Now I just don't know."

"Well it could have been Damon on that bathroom floor...he told me you know that he flirted with you that night."

Erin felt a shy blush dust her cheeks. She couldn't believe Damon had told him about that.

"Yeah he did a bit. I mean Damon's good looking and he showed me attention. I was flattered. No lad had ever looked at me before...and he made his intentions clear. But I wasn't looking for that...or him. I wasn't looking for anything honestly... but then I found you and it's like I think maybe I was looking for something I hadn't even known I'd been missing. I wouldn't have kissed Damon that night. No way. Not in any version of events. But I think in every version of how we met our first meeting would always end in me kissing you. And if that's fate then I guess I do believe in it."

Graham's blush deepened and Erin smiled.

"Were that dead cheesy?"

Graham nodded.

"Yes but you know I don't mind. I asked for help that night and you answered."

Graham leant down to press a soft kiss to her lips before Erin could even reply.

They rode the subway back to Graham's flat. Erin feeling exhausted from the travel and the excitement of the day let her body press fully against Graham's. She closed her eyes and leant her head on his shoulder as the motion of the subway rocked her gently. She was vaguely aware of Graham's fingers gently playing with her curls. It was soothing but also caused little tingles to radiate up and down her body from her head to her toes.

She felt Graham jostle her slightly and whisper.

"This is us."

Erin woke with a start not even realising she must have fallen asleep. It was suddenly chilly after the warmth of the day and because of how tired she was. Even though she protested Graham gave her his jacket which she gratefully wrapped around her. A gentleman.
