ChangBin leapt behind a building, panting and pulling his face covering off. He wiped the sweat from his face, catching his breath. He looked at the bag in his hands and smirked. Watching as Hyunjin, the guy after him, stomped in anger, he laughed. He watched as Hyunjin threw a tantrum. "FUCK- We lost him again," he rubbed his face with his hands. ChangBin smiled again, snickering and taking another glance at Hyunjin before running away.

"ChangBin, dude, you're not stealing more shit again. You literally hide all the stuff at my house." Han looked at him in disappointment. ChangBin shrugged, taking the last bite of the bread he was eating. He plopped in a beanbag and smiled mischievously while Han sighed. Han and ChangBin have been friends since they met when Han was first in high school. Though Han didn't agree with ChangBin's habits, he stuck with him.

"Is that Hyunjin dude still trying to catch you?"

Han asked, looking through ChangBin's stolen goods. He pulled out a watch and inspected it. "Ye- he'll never catch me, though, that bitch." He laughed. "They're gonna get you soon, you know."

ChangBin shrugged, yawning. "He hasn't yet." ChangBin has been on Hyunjin's list ever since he committed a huge robbery, mayor Jay Y. Park's huge mansion. It was heavily guarded, so Hyunjin immediately knew that this guy was trouble. He hasn't stopped looking for him for 2 years, and ChangBin was planning to keep this game of cat and mouse going on for a long time.

ChangBin looked at Han, watching as he looked through the goods in amazement. "You can't deny... I'm good at this."

"I'm not visiting you in prison, hyung." Han threw the stolen bag at ChangBin, who stuck his tongue out at the younger. Han rolled his eyes and walked out of his room. "I'm gonna go to the store. Be back in 30." Han walked out while ChangBin just nodded his head, pushing the bag under the bed.

"FUCK- We lost him again," Hyunjin shouted, his head pounding with angry thoughts. His coworker sighed, obviously done with his shit. "Stop shouting and let's just go work on another case, one that's actually worth risking my boring life for." Hyunjin glared at him and scoffed.

"Shut up, Seungmin."

His coworker rolled his eyes, turning and walking away while waving his hand in the air. Hyunjin groaned again, throwing his glasses at the ground in frustration. He took a deep breath and walked towards Seungmin. As they got into the car, Seungmin glanced at Hyunjin. "You should stop obsessing. It's kinda gay."

After 20 minutes, they pulled into a driveway of a house that had police cars around it, yellow tape everywhere. They got out, walking inside. Choi Soobin, chief of police, gave the agents the information they needed, and left to supervise the cleanup of the scene.

"20 year old male, just moved here. He was stabbed 2 times in the side and once in the chest," Seungmin read from a clipboard. "the murderer was no where to be found, no fingerprints were found nor any trace of the weapon used." Hyunjin nodded, looking around the scene. Seungmin went outside to question police and Hyunjin worked with the police inside.

2 weeks later

"Hyunjin," his boss, Bang Chan, smiled at him, "congratulations on finishing the case!!" Hyunjin bowed, obviously unimpressed. Bang Chan frowned. "Hyunjin- aren't you happy for yourself?" Hyunjin shrugged.

Chan leaned against his desk, he crossed his arms. "Hyunjin, look, you need to stop being so hard on yourself just because you can't catch one guy."

Hyunjin looked at Chan, sighing. "You've told me this before, hyung, you know your motivational speeches don't work on me." Chan just shook his head, still frowning. "Just- get back to work." Hyunjin bowed before leaving the room, seeing another detective enter quickly. He walked to his desk and sat down, rubbing his head. He soon heard shouting from Chan's office.
