Clouds passed by the windows of the fanlair.Stars drowning the night sky. The partners had a long day working at the Frosty Mart and the dozen homework assignments from school. The heros desperately wanted to simply relax.
"There!" Fanman sighed in relief. The bed finally finished. Him and ChumChum lied their backs to the soft embrace of the warm blankets covering the mattress.
Although fanman already felt like he was in bliss. He felt an extra embrace hit them, it was ChumChum. He had his arms wrapped against fanman like a sloth in a tree, not showing signs of moving. "I love you, Fanman" ChumChum muttered as his face buried deep into his partners chest.
His face now red, Fanman couldn't do anything but put his hand on chums head and graze through his hair. "I love you too," Fanman spoke, tracing his fingers through her thick hair.Soon, ChumChum was out like a light.
Fanman looked at his sleeping lover and slowly moved over. He wrapped his partner around in a blanket and joined the covers afterwards. He was tired, but not tired enough to fall asleep. He laid there, his mind drifting back to the moment that led to this. To this blossomed relationship.
Fanmans feelings for ChumChum had been confusing for years. While the two had been friends since they were litte, he often found his feelings rather...strange. They laughed at the stupidest of jokes, Play the silliest of games,, and would never be seen apart. That's not to say it wasn't hard for Fanboy to tell whether he liked Chum Chum or "like liked" Chum Chum.
However, what really brought all these feelings to light took place around freshman year. For some reason ChumChum wore one of the prettiest dress Fanman ever saw for homecoming. It was red and splatterd with glitter that made him shimmer wherever he went.At first, Fanman just tried to convince himself to just wait for his date and not look for ChumChum. He thought he being weird, but as he realized that his date didn't come, He asked his sidekick to hang out with him for the rest of the night.Of couse ChumChum said yes and they spent the night doing what they always do, create chaos and have fun. They drove back to the Fanlair and he finally spoke his confession his heart seemed to burst along with ChumChums and they finally made it official.
This led to Fanboy and ChumChum trying to talk more seriously. As you'd expect, afterthe first couple of times they gave up on the serious talk. Nothing really changed in there conversations or anything for the matter. They were just "together" but in that case, haven't they always? It had surprised Fanboy that even when you become lovers, it just feels like you're friends with a different title. They read their comic books and still made the same bathroom jokes. The only difference was in their hearts, they felt full. Which didn't happen when they were younger. Yes they were close, but they never even thought of being able to develop such strong feelings towards eachother.
As the days progressed, they start making more romantic compliments like "pretty" and "adorable".ChumChum began using pet names in the relationship. Fanboy would beam when his partner started calling him "sweetie". However, he could never explain why. It just did.
One night, the two were watching a movie together. And some harsh topic came on that made ChumChum cry. Fanman had turn off the TV and grabbed ChumChum, pulling him close. "I'm so sorry that happened, do you wanna watch something else?" "N-no, at least not right now" Chum gasped through blubbers of tears. Fanman sighed and knew his partner was in distress, and planted a kiss to ChumChum's forehead. He wiped the tears off his lovers face and kissed him again, but this time on the lips.
Fanman woke back to the present, he fell asleep! It was already 7 am, alarm screaming. Fanman turned off the alarm and stretched. Now seeing ChumChum, his dearest lover wide awake and ready to go. "Morning" ChumChum gave him a kiss on the cheek. The hero pulled off the blanket and began to get himself ready.
