Saigai trotted through the quiet household. "Mom? Dad? Stop playing with me, I know you're in here!" He opened up the curtain to the bathroom tub, but he didn't see his parents. "I guess they get better at hide and seek every time we play it." He sighed, and skipped into the living room. He stopped in fear. Blood stained the wool carpet, as his parents lied there lifeless. "No. This is not funny!" He kneeled down to check a pulse, but nothing. He jumped up and let out a scream. Running to the phone, to call the police. He turned to see the wire of the phone, torn to shreds. "Dang it!" He rushed back over to his parents, and tried shaking them awake as tears pricked at his dull eyes. In a quiet house, you could hear a pin drop. Footsteps freaked the floor. Saigai turned around. He got a glimpse of a wooden bat, before everything went black.
