It's been a month, the Kuru Princes returned from their gurukul. A lot have been changed in this one month.
The Pandavas and Karn bonded really well. Though some of their initial meetings were awkward but as time passed, their bond got really strong.
But the relation between Kauravas and Pandavas were getting worse day by day. The elders were worried about the same.
Karn too was trying to mend the already broken relationship between the cousins.
The time he heard that Duryodhan tried to kill Bheem in their childhood, before going to their gurukul, he wasn't surprised. Such was the hatred between the cousins.
When the Pandavas and Karn spent some time together, Duryodhan always used to come and take Karn with him, giving some reasons.
One such day when Duryodhan did the same again, irritated by his behavior, Karn decided to ask what the reason behind that kind of his behavior.
"What are you doing, Mitra? I have been observing you for a long time, every time when I stay with the Pandavas, you drag me out from there? What kind of behavior is this ?" Karn at last voiced out his confusion.
"Because, you are my friend. You shouldn't talk with those idiots." Duryodhan replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Mitra, they are your brothers. So restrain yourself from using abuse languages. " Karn said in a stern voice.
"I won't..."
"Okay. Now tell me the actual reason behind your behavior because what is ' you are my friend and you shouldn't spend your time with anyone else'? This cannot be the reason behind your such weird acts." Karn asked, while frowning at him.
"I am telling the truth only. You are my friend and i feel to much of insecurity when you are with them. I feel like i will lose you someday." Duryodhan said in a serious tone but to Karn it came more like a childish.
Karn's eyes bulged out in shock and his mouth fell open, listening to his friend's reason for his 'unusual behaviour '.
Duryodhan after finishing his rambling, looked at his best friend only to find him glued on the ground.
Not understanding why his friend is standing like that, he decided to call him.
"Mitra? "
"Mitra? "
"Mitra ! "
Not getting his reply even after calling him three times,Duryodhan decided to shout this time.
"Karn ! "
Karn jerked out from his own world.
"What happened mitra ? Why are shouting ? "
"Welcome to this world. I am your best friend Duryodhan. " Duryodhan said pressing the 'best friend' part.
"Yeah, I know it. But why are you shouting ?" Karn asked in confusion.
Now its time for Duryodhan to get confused. Where was his best friend lost that he didn't have any idea what actually they were talking.
But he let it go assuming he must be thinking about Angdesh as he is the newly appointed king.
"Whatever lets go for the dinner." Duryodhan said it to Karn getting an agreed nod from him, and went to the dining hall.
