Summer! The best Time of the year. No school, no worrying about teachers, no girls to try to avoid, and best of all, testing new inventions! This is going to be the best summer ever! I thought to myself as I woke up, got changed, and brushed my teeth. What invention should we try first? Hmm... Oh I know! The one that sends someone into a video game! That sounds like fun! Haha yea! I ran over to my dresser opened the one drawer grabbed the item that looked like a headset with a flash drive on one of the cords and a cord for sound and a cord for the microphone. "OK so what game should I try? Hmm... Well let's check my Steam games. Oh I'll do Portal because it was such a good game! Wait didn't at one point I had to destroy GLaDOS in the game? I think so. Oh well let's do it anyway!" I said to myself plugging in the headset type device into my computer and booting up Steam.
"Sorin! You OK in there? I'm gonna go to Kimmy's house. Call if you or Lilly need anything." My mom said getting her purse.
"OK mom!" My sister Lillian said. "Sorin what are you going to do today?" She asked me.
"I'm going into a video game."I answered turning up my volume and everything.
"Ohh can I help some how from here?" She queried sitting in another computer chair that was in the room next to another one of my computers that was hooked up to see what my other computer saw.
"You can stay here and sit in that chair and talk to me while I'm in the game so if something goes wrong you can get me out of there deal?" I told her as the main menu for Portal appeared on both screens.
"OK! Are you ready?"
"Yes. Going in the game in one... Two... Three!" I screamed putting on the headset as my body collapsed in the chair and I appeared on Lillian's screen.
