Prologue

                      "they mistook my kindness for weakness"

"Bonnie sweetie I'm going to be honestly with you... Grams is dead because of the Salvatores. Elena may have not wanted the tomb open or have killed her but understand this if she is still hanging around them while not even paying fucking respect to our grandmother than she isn't your friend. And honestly you could do better."

Bonnie looks up to her cousin, "Let me guess you"

"Honestly yes, and our other cousin what better friends than us."

"Other cousin... I don't even know her"

"It's okay I do... she helped with the legalization of my emancipation after my parents died. Grams took care of you but knew I wanted to be independent so she sent me to Lucy to finalized everything... back to the point though is it really that bad we understand each other and we can practice magic together. And hopefully with me by your side your fashion sense will get better."

Bonnie pushes the other witch as they both laugh. The moment bittersweet hours after the funeral of Shelia Bennett and hours before Bonnie was due back to the torturous town. But in that moment, they were just cousins enjoying time together.

Bonnie rushes after the older Bennett leaving Jeremy by his car.

"Wait are you the cousin that helped Alaya."

"Yea, we Bennetts look after our own, I swear to you Bonnie if I had known I wouldn't have come. But darling, Mystic Falls will kill you if you continue like this."

Bonnie fumbles at the dark tone the older Bennett takes, taken back at the warning.

"Wait, what do you mean."

Lucy signs and holds onto the younger girl's shoulder "Bonnie they don't respect you and you are made to rule cities not just die in them. Remember we look after our own if you need anything call Alaya she'll contact me" With that Lucy walked away and entered her car as Bonnie went to join Jeremy. As Jeremy left the parking space Lucy dialed the number of Alaya.

"Why hello dangerous, what can I help you with."

"I saw Bonnie"

"Woah okay, straight to it. Well, did you feel it"

"Yea I didn't want to leave but she wouldn't let us. She has to call us on her own terms"

"I know but it sucks... she's hurting especially cause she's alone and you know that her friends aren't paying attention. She's going to hit rock bottom protecting them like she means nothing. I don't want to lose her. She can't die before I change that horrid fashion sense."

Lucy solemnly chuckles realizing that Alaya is trying to joke to stop herself from crying "Look at it this way when the group unfortunately breaks her trust indefinitely she will call us and we can reunite the Bennett Coven and bring back power to our name until then we follow with the plan. I got Lockwolf with me in the back seat. Continue talking to the wolves in Naples." As she finishes the sentence she looks at her rear-view mirror to the backseat which was holding an unconscious Mason Lockwood after being unearth and being brought back to life.

The same night of the coffin opening up, Bonnie realized that she was truly alone. The opening of the coffin left her with uncertainty and she knew that her friend wouldn't protect her like they protected Elena. So, she did the only thing she could calling her cousins crying hysterically telling them about everything she went through. She felt ashamed after not calling them for so long but she knew if she did they would drop everything but at the moment she didn't care she wanted to be selfish, she wanted to feel loved.

She told them about how she faked her death, how she got cheated on with a fucking ghost and how she died and faced off the Original Hybrid. Her cousins listened to her and that night Bonnie felt heard. She went to sleep that night not thinking of Elena or Klaus or even her mother. But she finally felt at peace knowing that her cousins sisters were coming the next morning and that everything was going to be okay. 

Alaya Bennet Bonnie Bennett and Lucy Bennett would be united all together and Mystic Falls won't know what hit them. Doppelgangers, Hybrids and old undead witches were not match for the Bennetts and the coven would rise again over the supernatural world.
