A small, purple dressed skeleton trudged through the grass, Making it back to a large oak tree with apples hanging from it, The golden apples darkened as flames licked angrily against them, A few villagers dropped their torches, Which just added to the surrounding flames, He flopped down onto the ground, Surrounded by rocks and other dry, Hard things, Suddenly a chillingly familiar scream echoed through the air, The purple dressed skeleton shot up, Their twin, Dressed in yellow, was stuck under a large metal weapon thing, Spikes curved out at the top on a long rod, The purple skeleton quickly tried to run over, A villager kicking him aside in a burnt patch of his favorite flowers, The villager went over to the yellow skeleton, Grabbing the item off of him, Suddenly, The villager slammed it hard onto the young guardian, Another scream echoed through the air, Blood flew out the side of the skeleton, The villager quickly got up and ran, The purple skeleton rushed over to the twin, "DREAM! B-BROTHER?!?" "..N-Nighty..?" "Yes, Yes! I'm here, Please- PLEASE- DON'T DIE!" "it hurts.." Quickly flames lept up from behind Dream, Roaring hungrily as it swept halfway onto the wounded one, A choked sob coming from them "Br-Brother-!" Night knew he couldn't save his brother.. He'd only live in agony. "NIGHTY!!" The scream jolted Night into reality, A blank look on his face, Tears falling in large waves down his face "...I'm sorry... Dream..." Night picked up a sharp stick, Holding his breath he lifted it up, A anguished cry was cut off as Night stabbed the stick through Dream's skull, Blood covering everything near, including Night, The flames let out a deep growl as Dream dusted, Quickly Night picked up the crown and-
Nightmare jolted awake, Hyperventilating, Looking around at the nearly healed land around him, A whimpered cry came from him.. A few words leaving his mouth... "Was it a Dream..?"
