I was arriving to my home after doing some groceries because today is a special day, we are dating for two years now and it's mine and Natasha's dating anniversary and I want to propose so I'm doing for tonight's dinner her favorite and then I'll take her to the fair, she loves to go there so i think she will love it.

When I finally arrived i open the door and went to the kitchen and put the grocery on the table.

I started to hear some weird noises coming from our bedroom, so i went upstairs and opened the door.

I felt pain the moment I opened that door, the sight of my girlfriend being fucked by Steve, nasty.
I can feel the tears threatening to fall but I just hold them to not break in front of them.

I closed the door and as fast as I could i ran downstairs and went to the living room hoping this was just a nightmare and I will wake up at any moment.

I start to hear steps and Natasha, already dressed, entered the living room.

" What the fuck were you doing?!
I thought you were better than that!"

" Look Y/n im sorry, but he is my boyfriend."

What. The. Fuck i am not understanding, she has a boyfriend all this time?

"What, since when are you with him?!"

"For an year and half" she says, and in that moment I didn't know what to do, should I cry, should I laugh, I'm going insane and not understanding anything.

"Why would you do that, am I not good enough for you? Am I something to you or just some thing that can go to trash?" I start to get more irritated and and the front door opened.

"Agents she's here. No Y/n, you were my mission and I finished it"Natasha said with a blank expression and they come inside with guns pointed at me and two of them come arrest me, I see Steve sneaking out when they came in.

They check my pockets to see if I have something like a gun and they find the box with the ring inside for Natasha, i chose a green emerald ring to match her eyes, and they give it to her.
She opens her mouth to say something but she just stays there with the ring in her hand and looks at me with teary eyes.

"Why is this happening, what have I done?!" I look at them in shock.

"You still work for your father and so he is getting arrested now too.
Your father was hiring murders to kill his opponents and using their ideas to create an weapon that could kill all of us, and you were working for him, helping him building the weapon."

" I am not working for him, i knew his plan and I tried to scape but he threatened me telling that he would hurt me and ruin my life, so i ran way in bought this house, but I already told you all this why don't you believe me?!" I can't believe that the love of my life is arresting me for something I haven't done.

Natasha finally speaks and puts the box in her pocket and returns to her blank face, i can read her like a book, or so I doubt i know anything about her if she has been lying to me all this time.

"But we have been tracking your phone and you have been talking to him even if you knew he is not a good person." I just can't hold it anymore and I feel the tears running down my cheeks and I just stay there arrested, feeling pain, betrayal, angry.

So i just get scolded by the agents and they take me to the car. When I'm fully inside the car, the window rolls downs and Natasha comes to me.

"And I love Steve so you know, I'm sorry that it was all fake"

"It was like you were wearing a mask all this time" I just stare at her while crying silently, she doesn't even look sad but she looks down and goes away, she really never loved me, two years of fake love, fake living.

Looks like my father really ruined my life, he said and he did.
