Author's notes section:
2022-02-15: Hey, a small update for the story. So far, it is only a preview. However, I should be able to finish it soon. Please, bear in mind that it is, as mentioned, a preview. Some parts of it might not be included in the final release. As I have promised in the latest chapter of 'Silence of the Shackles', here is a further development of the story.
2022-02-21: Hey, the chapter was finished. Hope you will like it :)
Don't forget to comment. I really appreciate your feedback.
Note that the dialogues written in italic are thoughts.
As always, I would like to thank you for everything. See you soon :)
Changelog:
[2022-02-15]: A preview was released.
[2022-02-21]: The chapter was updated, and its final version was released.Info: Overall, the current plan is for me to write 'My home is where my heart lies' and 'Family tree' alternatively. Between the updates of these stories, I will try to upload other texts. Maybe, just maybe, I will be able to finish some of the short stories. However, I truly doubt that. It seems that most if not all of the stories will be extended both in terms of the time and the number of chapters.
Info: I will try to rewrite some of the older chapters between releasing new ones. I expect to start working on that goal in the middle of January. So, please be informed that the new chapters might take a bit longer to be finished and published.
Bonuses' section:
A new story taking place in the Warhammer 40k universe.
Story of one lost soul: The war call: rewrite.
An entirely new story (possibly Akali x [Irelia, Syndra, Katarina]).
A new short story (Vi x Cait).
An entirely original story (possibly even 2 stories, one taking place in medieval times, the other in the far future)References:
*bonuses will be worked on when I don't feel like writing the chapters pointed out in the schedule :D
End of the author's notes section.
"Lay down!" a harsh whisper reached Samara's ear. "Our task is to scout ahead, not to fight with these 'beasts'," a feminine voice added, dripping with venom.
Samara did not reply; after the past two weeks, she had learnt to obey orders without question. So instead, she lay down flat onto her belly into the high grass. Beside her, a little over a few steps to the right, Analylah lay, scanning the closest surrounding. The seasoned huntress had a scowl all over her face. Something was evidently off.
As soon as the High Pristess' daughter had healed her wounds, she had been sent to training, accompanied by Moonblade. The mission they had been tasked with led them to the sacred forest of their people, Ashenvale. But unfortunately, the situation there looked far more dire than the reports had stated.
Two days ago, they had finally reached Maestra's Post. It was a small outpost guarded by 3 or 4 sentinel's teams. Its primary purpose was to take a vigil of the surrounding areas. After all, these could have been easily observed from the safety of the outpost's tall tower. But, to Samara's surprise, two humans were residing there, alongside the elves. These two were paladins of the Alliance who had decided to stay after the war against the Burning Legion. So even though the sentinels seemed to be treating them as guests, they were mostly ignored. From the senior sentinel's officer, the young woman had learnt that some humans were obsessed with elven women. So, they preferred to leave them to their own devices for safety reasons.
