The Red Dream

The beginning of interanaty

It was a cold night, The room dimly lit, A lamp the only thing lighting up the small room with a book open on the wooden nightstand next to a bed, A hand dangling off the bed, A soft and quiet breath making the hand move up and down very slow and very subtle, A shuffle on the bed and a slight "Meow" a black cat with white patches look at, Zoey the girl sleeping in the bed, She begins to clench her eyes, She awakes jolting up sitting straight up, Breathing heavily and looking around like She just saw a ghost, Zoey grabs the cat and holds him close, Hugging him and resting her head on his small head, His ears go back but he purrs closing his eyes, Zoey smiles and relaxes looking at the door it sifting into a dark entrance to a forest and a voice.. "Come... Follow are voice.. Come.." Zoey shakes her head, The entrance just becomes the hallway of her apartment the door wide open, The hall dark and Eery, Shivers go down her spine thinking of something coming into the hall and attacking her the thought made her arise from her bed and shut the door, Locking it, She rests her head on the door letting out a sigh, She turns to her cat and looks at him, Sitting on the bed his purring echoing in the room, Zoey smiles then it turns into a frown looking at her alarm clock on her nightstand, It's only 2:30am.. She sighs rubbing her head and eyes with an annoyed growl "Dammit.. I hate these stupid nightmares I really need to get it checked out, Don't I?" Zoey says looking at the cat, The cat stares at her blankly still purring, Zoey sits down at the edge of the bed sighing looking at the stars slighting glowing from her roof that is made of glass, "It's so pretty outside at this time.." Zoeys eyes twinkle, As the cat walks over and lays in her lap closing his eyes purring, Zoey smiles and lays down, Slowly drifting back to sleep.
