Do not get a pup from any backyard breeders or irresponsible breeders they need to show proof of health certificate , show pictures of the parents and 4 generations before the pup , make sure the pups are dewormed , had its first set of shots and make sure the pups leave there mother above 8 weeks or 10 weeks.
Usually backyard breeders dont deworm there puppys sometimes , and they dont show pictures of the parents and doesnt show health certificate from the parents or the puppys , one obvious part that you can straight tell , if they are backyard breeders is when they sell there puppys before 8 weeks old and also not care who buys the pup.

Good breeders ask you questions about why you want to purchase a pup from there litter, they ask you , if you want a show dog, pet dog, working dogs or if u want breeding rights .
They also ask if you have a good fenced up yard for there puppys to run around in. Good breeders show proof of everything , they have health certificate of parents and puppys they do temperment test on the puppys and parents , they do socialization with the puppys they do parent health testing, they vaccinate their puppys and should take them on there first vet check ,professional breeders microchip there puppys before they sent there puppys to there new homes and breeders should show 4 generations before the pup.
