"Thats a cool shot! You are great. You are truly my daughter aren't you?" I smirked.
"Like father, like daughter" we laughed. I got rid of the gun and put it on the table. I rubbed my hands together because of the cold. I was wearing a jacket but my hands where bare.
"This feels great" i turned to face dad who was about to shoot the target on the range.
"Awe that was damn fire" i clapped hands. He was really good in shooting. He could target the enemy and boom.
"You will be better than me. For a start you are really great. In a short period of time you will be able to protect your self. And trust me there is nothing that makes me happy than knowing that my daughter will be left in safe hands when i am gone." Why did he always say that? It hurt me.
"Dad no" i hugged him. "I cant loose you just yet. I mean you may be annoying but you are my dad and i love you. All my life, i grew up without a father or a mother. I always thought maybe you guys died or abandoned because you didn't want me. I never thought if my life could be this great someday, i mean you being with me although my mother is no where to be found" he seemed shocked a bit but quickly covered it with a smile.
"Sweetheart i am sorry if the words i said earlier hurt you. I promise i will stay, i will fight those who try to harm me just for you" i smiled and i hugged him.
After the shooting session we went separate ways getting ready for the day. I dressed up and headed downstairs where i found my dad talking to three men dressed in suits.
"Take care of the shipments" they nodded as they listened from dad and walked away. What shipment?
"Hey dad i am heading out" he turned to face me. His face lit up with a smile.
"My princes" he said. "Dont you look stunning" he complimented me making me chuckle.
"Thanks dad" i replied and then he asked "So what are you upto?"
"Having a late lunch with Bridgette" his face fell.
"Do you really have to meet her?"He asked. I nodded.
"Okay then take care, the driver will take you there" i smirked. I hugged him goodbye and left.
"
As soon as i reached there i saw Bridgette already waiting for me. I walked towards her and she finally saw me as she looked up. She smiled at me "hey sweetheart" she stood up and i was surprised she hugged me tightly.
"Hey aunty" i replied between the hug.
"I miss you so much my dear. Its been a while" she stated after the hug but still holding my Hands. I smiled at her. "I miss you too auntie. I really am glad i got to see you again." She smiled.
We got seated and order the food. All the while she kept talking about her projects on the foundations she is sponsoring and she even asked me if i am still interested to join her. I thought it was a better idea anyways.
"Ofcourse yes I will be so delighted to work with you. Truth be told i am just in a transition period. Having finding my father recently is just not easy to cope up with everything" i said to her. Her face had lit ip a while ago and then it fell all of a sudden on the mere mentioning of my last sentence. Why did she react that way? I was about to ask her why she seems sad but unfortunately her face lit up again.
"I am actually happy for you my dear" she held my hands. "I saw the news and I couldn't believe it. Who would have thought you would get reunited with your family after everything. You really deserve it, i hope you are happy with your father" it sounded weird.
"I am very happy. He loves me and he hasn't done anything other than showering me woth so much care and love. However i just wish to meet my mother someday." I said with almost tears brimming my face.
"You will" Bridgette said and held my hand. She looked so sad, she rubbed my hands in circular motion. There was something about her touch that made me felt calm and secured. There has always been that bond between us that i could not pinpoint.
"You deserve a happy family" she said and she looked like she would cry any minute. "Has your father told you anything about m..i mean your mother" she asked curiously.
"Well, he said ever since they separated he hasn't heard from her anymore. Sometimes i wonder if she thinks about me or at least now that everyone knows about me may be she has seen me and she will may be come back to me" i said and i felt tears coming uncontrollably out of my face.
"Hey" aunty Bridgette stood up and came towards my side. She stood beside me and elope me into a tight embrace. I hugged her back and rested my head on her belly. She patted me and soothed me in a calming manner. In few minutes i was fine. I said good bye to her and left.

Bridgette was crying that she covered her face with her hand rubbing of the tears. She didn't see Antonio walking towards her.
Antonio reached her and cleared his throat.
"Stay away from my daughter" was all Antonio said to her. She got startled and raised her head to face the man she thought to never see again after everything that happened between them in the past. She wished her thoughts not to be true. But it was all in vain as the man she looked was the same man she thought about. Her eyes widened upon seeing him.
"Antonio?" She gasped. She couldn't believe it. Antonio heaved a deep sigh "Yes the one and only" Bridgette covered her mouth with her hand completely shocked.
