You Remember meeting Traveler in Inazuma a few months ago, now you travel with them. You two are basically always tied up with commissions and battles. You heard about the meeting with their twin but other than that, you haven't really seen the other twin.

They asks you to go with them on every quest, and stuff. Most of the time it's to keep them company, but other times, is when it's genuinely difficult so they need your help.

You are a very insecure person so you have very low self esteem, paimon tries to make you happy, and it's works but, it doesn't help with giving you confidence. But you show your appreciation towards her by giving her food. And she definitely enjoys it! You get a good laugh out of it because of the way she scarfs it down is absolutely nuts.

The traveler had a lot of commissions to do, so they asked you to accompany them and help them. You agreed to do it and you both packed some chicken mushroom skewers to munch on along the way. And as soon as you got set up. You both set off into Teyvat to do commissions together.

You and Traveler rescued the same guy a majority of the time you were doing commissions. Don't worry though. You will get a lot of good rewards... at least you hope so.

Once you finished off all the commissions, you two met up with Katheryne and collected your rewards, and talked to each other for a bit.

You and Traveler both decide to run around Teyvat and find some treasure along the way if you can. So the two of you once again, set off.

As you two were walking, you felt like you were being followed. So you stopped in your tracks and pulled the traveler back. "I think someone is following us." You say in a slightly worried tone. "Are you kidding me?" The traveler says and makes a pissed off face

You heard what they said and took it the wrong way. You frowned at hearing that, and you felt it was your fault, and then the Traveler realized what they said.

"Y/N I don't mean it like that it just came out wrong, if anything it's mainly me, I usually drag you into these. It was mainly my idea to come out here anyway. Heh."

You both start laughing a bit and decide to ignore it.

The two of you keep walking around, enjoying the nature around you, you manage to tame a few animals, but you both kept on getting rammed into by boars. You two had bruises all over from those pesky boars. You two just keep on walking, until.. you see a guy with a weirdly large hat.. wait isn't that the Balladeer!?

You whisper to Traveler that a Fatui Harbinger is following you two. You both pick up the pace, and so does he. You and the traveler both start to sprint and the Balladeer catches up to you. The harbinger picks you up and runs past the traveler.

You gasp in confusion as he grabs you and you struggle to leave his grasp "Traveler!" You yell, but your vision turns pitch black for a while.

You then wake up to see the boy sitting beside you, waiting for you to wake up. You realize what is going on and get up and try to run out, but then he grabs you by the wrist.

"Please, don't leave. I brought you here just because I want some company ok? I could've picked someone else.. you best be greatful I even chose someone as pesky as you." He blushes a bit.

You slightly frown from the comment but brush it off enough that he won't notice. And giggle quietly as you see his slightly pink cheeks.

"Wait.." you ask. The Balladeer turns his head back and faces you humming in response "How am I supposed to trust you? I don't even know your name, and on top of that, you're a Harbinger." You look at him suspiciously. He sighs, and says "Number one, I didn't kill you, number two, I didn't torture you, number three, my name is Scaramouche, and finally,-.. I don't know what to say. That's all I can think of at the moment." He shrugs and looks at you in an innocent way. You just stare back at him and scoff. "Fine, I'll trust you but you're on thin ice, make one wrong move and you're done." He nods in response.

— Time skip —

The two of you started talking a lot more, and you had forgotten about the traveler situation. I mean you eventually became the 8th harbinger after La Signora- umm.. iykyk. It's been a few years since you met anyway, and you eventually said, why the hell not? And joined the Fatui.

you guys are really close. You've went on a few dates together, but have yet to make it official. You are thinking about confessing today, in hopes of not embarrassing yourself, worried that you might make your self esteem go even lower than it already is, if it's even possible.

You walk to his estate and knock on the door. He answers it immediately, smirking a bit seeing you. "Oh! Hello Y/N. Didn't think I would see you today."
You laughed a bit in response and walked in. You blushed a bit as you looked at him. Luckily, he didn't notice.

"Scara?" "Y/N?" You both said each other's names at the same time and slightly blushed. "Oh sorry.. I interrupted you.." you frowned and looked down. He actually looked sympathetic for once and reassured you that it was ok and you didn't interrupt him. "Maybe we should say it at the same time, huh? That ought to make it more interesting~." That devilish smirk crept up his face making you blush. "Sure." You responded. "You ready?" He asked. You nodded. "Ok." He said.

The both of you blurted it out the same time and blushed deeply looking at each other in shock. As you still covered your mouth blushing in Shock that damn devilish smirk crept up his face yet again making you turn even redder than you were. He got a bit closer to you making you blush. "Well. I guess the feeling is mutual for the both of us. Hm~?" He said smirking.

You blushes a bit hearing this. "can I..~?" He looked at your lips and looked back up at you as you nodded a yes blushing. He wraps his arms around you as you do the same and he kisses you softly and pulls away as he does that face again. He goes back in for another, and another, and another.. until you both eventually stop. "So.. are we a thing now?" He asked "innocently". "I guess so." You laughed a bit and blushed.

—Time skip—

There was one time you were eating together, and Scara looked at you. you thought he was looking at you for the way you ate, and ate slower with a slight frown on your face. It took him a minute to realize 'oh shit.' He looked at you apologetically. "Y/N wait- I'm not looking at you because of that" he said. "..You aren't..?" You asked sadly. "No, I'm not. You're just so pretty, I can't take my eyes off you." He winks and smirks, making you blush as you both continue to eat.

You decided to go to your shared room together and lay down as you hold each other, slowly drifting off to sleep, as it is getting late, and you both have plenty of work to do within the next few days.

And you remember how it all started.
