Chapter 3

AARON POV
"I can't believe we're leaving." Eric says. "What?" I ask him confused. "Well, I mean..I met you here. You ran this place."
"Baby I know, but these people are douches and they aren't who we should be around."
"What if there isn't anymore people out there?"
"Eric you have to believe me, I love you more than anything, if I didn't know there were any people out there then we wouldn't go, I never want to put you in any danger ever. You are my whole life, you're the only thing I care about. Im positive that people are out there. Do you believe me?"
"Yes, Aaron I love you so much I would die if something happened to you, but nothing will happen to you because I will be there to protect you. If you want to leave then we will leave, as long as both of us will be safe." He says tearing up a bit. I hug him and he jumps into my arms, "I-I n-nevver want t-to leave y-you!" He says full on sobbing. He buried his face in the crease of my neck. "shhh...baby it's okay, it's okay." I hug him tighter. He wipes his eyes and kisses me passionately, I don't know how someone could be so sweet and innocent in this hell hole. "It's about 5:30-6:00 we got to grab the guns and go, the sun will come up soon, we don't want to be seen." I let Eric down and grab his hand. "Ready?" I ask. "If you are." God he's so innocent. "Let's go, and I'm not letting go of your hand until we leave okay?" I kiss him on his lips and snuck out of the tent.
"Stay by me baby." I whisper to Eric. He nods, I can tell he's scared I don't know what to do though. I squeeze his hand and he looks at me, then he jumps to me and kisses my lips, "later okay babe?" "Okay." I take his hand and keep walking were almost at the barn, nobody sleeps there that's where they keep weapons. "C'mon." I open the door to the barn and grab Eric's backpack and stuff some pistols and knifes with a case over them because I don't want him getting hurt. I grab a pistol and hand it to Eric he takes it and makes sure the safety was off. "Okay babe I think we're good." I told him. "Let's go." I took his hand and we walked into the woods.
"We did it!" Eric yelled. "I know baby." I said as I kissed him. "Save it for later babe." I said with a wink. He turned red and said "Oh I can't wait." Now I was the one blushing. I was staring into his eyes when a walker was in front of us came up and growled, "SHIT" I said as I pulled out my gun, "NO Aaron! It'll make to much noise!" Eric yelled. I still shot it. "We gotta leave now!" I yelled.
After a long time of running we finally stopped at a place. It looked like an old barn. We decided to stay the night here, luckily there was nothing in the barn. There was a top place where me and Eric were going to sleep. Maybe I could give him what he wants tonight. He's waited long enough.
