Prologue

Wang Yibo

I ran down a dark alley cornered by a stranger. "Please... don't hurt me." I hear heavy breathing. "Sorry I'm so hungry sir." the figure groaned and stepped closer to me a middle-aged man wraps his hand around my neck. I felt a sharp pain in my neck I felt relaxed and tense at the same time. I whimper the person pulls away looking into my tired eyes. "I could just gobble you up but you seem miserable enough human." he drops me on the ground "Do you want to live human?" I nodded making the man chuckle I watched as the man put it into his arm bringing it close to my mouth. "If you want to live, you have to drink." I grab his arm and open my mouth letting the thick red-black liquid fall in. after a while he pulls away helping me stand to my feet."You will be a cute pet... what is your name?" He lifts my chin making me look up at him.

He captures my lips with him he lifts me firmly gripping the back of my leg his feet lift off the ground "Hang on pet!" I hold on tight while a few others join us in the sky after a while we reach a black house the man lands on the ground pulling me off of him "Children this is your new two enjoy him wisely he won't break" he and the others snickered at his remark  two men grab my arms pulling me into a room with a cage inside shoving me in the last few months were hell for me until one of the men forgot to lock the door before toying with me I slowly climbed off the bed and crawled to the door not making a sound everyone else was asleep I slowly opened the front door and ran towards the woods and I made it to a town a woman ran towards me pulling me into her home cleaning me and giving me clothing "My dear What happened to you on this night?" I Let out a sigh "Ma'am I can't tell you we are not far from that place" she nods

"My dear, you must run far from here the Vampire lord and his hunters won't stop until they find you" I bid her goodbye leaving the small house and fleeing into the woods again I ran until my legs started to give out I made my way to a tree taking a rest after an hour I stood to my feet taking off again into an empty neighborhood seeing a few people standing outside my stomach grumbled a woman ran up to me grabbing me by the arm "Sir are you okay?" I held my nose to prevent the smell of her blood from making me crave more "Yes thank you" she held onto my arm I let go of my nose we were alone I pulled her into an empty lot a drank from her it was sweet Honestly I didn't care who saw I was starving I could eat anything I left her body there covered in blood I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone "They didn't take it?, how did I still have it on me?" I scrolled through the contacts and see a familiar name 'Xiao Zhan' it read I dialed the number "Hello, Yibo!"...
