The Squad ( Teenagers Only)

Chapter 3

Short chapter today sorry I'm kind of caught up trying to wright the other two books as well so next chapter will take a while. I apologize readers

Today I woke up as if it was a normal day, as if  would just go to school, go home, and go to sleep, but no I had to run into dreamy eyed Logan. We had finally escaped the men, but what I didn't understand was why we had just past my school.
" Wait! You just passed my school," He looks at me with knitted brows parting his mouth giving me a look that makes me feel like the stupidest person in the world.
" Are you kidding me," he sneers ," That is the only high school around for miles. Those men saw your face and you saw theirs. Do you really think that they won't find you and........," He trails off and grips the wheel till his knuckles turn white. He lets out a frustrated grunt and gives the car window shield the stink eye.
I guess he was right, what was I thinking. Those men were definitely dangerous and they probably didn't want their pictures plastered on every telephone pole in the city.
" Fine, then where are you taking me?" I grumbled. He looks towards me and sighs, then turns back to face the rode.
" I'm taking you to Squad headquarters, a place where you will be safe from those men. And in the meantime, a place where you can train to protect yourself." I raise my eyebrows at him.
" Excuse me, but i do remember it being me, who saved your ass. Soooooo." He looks at me with a curious look. After realizing what I had said I quickly place hand over my mouth and avoid his gaze. " I can't believe I just said that," I whisper, " I never swear."
" Maybe you have more of a temper than you think." He grunts out, clearly irritated. His eyes lock firmly on the windshield, ignoring the pestering stares I give him.
" What's The Squad?" I ask quietly. He gives me an annoyed glance and returns his gaze to the windshield. After a couple silent moments he eventually answers. " A society of teenage spies. What else?"
