The Betrayal

Alright, I'm going to start this off by saying that I'm just having fun with this one, there will be angst eventually. Basically, if you dislike the edge lord that is my evil Steven, skip this one, I'm not even putting effort into it anyways.

For the rest of ya, yes, this means a Marvel universe is part of this AU of Steven Universe, they have real earth in a different galaxy, several hundreds of thousands of light years away from the SU galaxy. If I decide it would be more entertaining, I'll throw I'm some Marvel characters, but only if it fits the feel of the story.

The symbiote we have here will have the powers we are used to with symbiotes, even if it might not make sense since this one is thousands of years old. I'll make an excuse later on, but, again, this is just for my own entertainment. We'll also be giving it a few abilities that we've seen other symbiotites have, I'll also make an excuse as to why it has extra powers, I already have one in fact. Anyways, enjoy.

Steven could be seen in some sort of meeting room with the Diamonds. "Alright, so as you all know, I'll be going back to earth in a week from now. Now I'm thinking I'll make the official announcement soon, go ahead and broadcast my goodbye to everyone and all that so I can take care of anything I forgot to do."

Blue was the first to say something. "Must you really go so soon? You'll visit often, right? You have a direct warp here now after all."

"Of course I'll visit you all, I'll just need some time to relax for a bit on earth, you know? I mean I almost missed my seventeenth birthday, and I promised I'd make it on time this year. There's just been so much to do here, I honestly didn't even expect to be able to go home for more than a day this soon, and it's still been a long time for me despite that." He said with a sigh, understanding that they lived so long that a few years doesn't feel like anything at all, but this had all been too much for him, so he was ready to finally go home.

"Fine fine, but if you take too long to come see us, we'll come to you." She warned, giving the teen a friendly smile. "Time seems to go slower without you around; I don't like it."

"No worries, I'll visit, I swear." He gives her a reassuring nod with a smile of his own. Blue suddenly got a call from her Pearl that there was some trouble being stirred up on one of her colonies. "Oh great...do you three mind finishing this alone, I need to deal with this, apparently we have some rebels causing issues on one of my planets."

"We'll be fine, go ahead and deal with them quickly, we'll handle the rest of the meeting, don't worry." Yellow responded, White giving an agreeing nod to her choice, Steven agreeing with the two. "Yeah, just remember, no shattering."

"Of course, I've been very good about that." She responds, having followed his rules very closely for a while now.

The other two ex-monarchs were strangely quiet until she left before they both looked over to him. White was the first to speak up. "Well then, let's get started- we want you to be happy with your goodbye, so we'll just have you go ahead and record it instead of doing it live, just to make sure everything goes right. We can just release it tomorrow."

"Oh, uh, sure, that's probably a good idea- I don't plan to do anything extravagant, just saying goodbye and reminding everyone to behave or something." Steven responded, deciding it would be the responsible choice to record it. "But yeah, let's go ahead and do that."

"Good, Yellow, have your Pearl set up the equipment, will you? Her and Blue's Pearl do the broadcasting stuff now, right?" White spoke to Yellow, slightly annoyed that she had to justify telling a Pearl to do something.
