y/n was walking home after an eventful day at shop with Ekko he hoped something would be different then the last times but it wasn't. As he walked through the door and exclaimed his homecoming he was met with silence. His mother was dead and had been for sometime. His father disappeared when he was ten. since then Vander had looked over him as well as vi and powder. Even offered him to stay at the last drop but he refused; he wanted to stay at his family home. After an uneventful night at home he went to bed hoping something would happen tomorrow.
y/n woke up in an unfamiliar place he was in a snowy forest sitting on a path. He stood up and walked down the path towards some light. arriving at the light he saw his father sitting at the campfire in the center with multiple logs around it for sitting. He sat down on one not knowing what to say.
Father: I'm sorry
Y/n: What for. You're disappearance?
Father: Yeah that. After your mother passed I couldn't stay I had to leave so I did.
Y/n: Then why are you here now wherever we are.
Father: Because i'm dead my last wish was to see you one last time. before I return to the ethereal plains.
Y/n: so that's it huh you just come to say by then go to the afterlife?
Father: And to tell you I want you to take my blades. Sell them all and forge your own path in life.
Y/n woke up remembering what his father said to him he grabbed a bag and a satchel he went to his fathers closet. there in the corner were five separate blades of varying sizes and kinds. he packed his bag with basic clothes and food essentials. he went to Benzo's shop and sold all the blades it gained him around six hundred dollars. He tolled Benzo and Ekko what his plan was and that he would be back in the future at some point. They said their goodbyes to him as he left to see Vander. Once he made it to the last drop he saw Vander at the counter and he took a seat.
Vander: What's with the bags you headed somewhere?
Y/n: Yeah i'm gonna go find who I am meant to be in this world.
Vander: Look I aint gonna stop ya at least say bye to Vi and Powder first.
Y/n: I will don't worry. thanks for looking out for me.
Y/n went downstairs and opened the door to see Vi and Powder doing their own things. Powder was working on her devices while Vi was punching a board on the wall. He walked down to Powder first and had his exchange with her about her devices working eventually. from there he walked over to Vi and had an exchange with her about him leaving she gave him a quick hug before wishing him good luck. Before he left he handed them each a tube it was black with a bright blue cap on it.
Y/n: Pull the cap to release a smoke signal never lose these. When you need me light it ill find you both wherever you are.
They nodded to him and he left he walked to the lift out of the under city and went up it. from there he walked to the river separating Piltover and the under city. he got on a ship at the docks the ship headed for Zaun. It was a warring country but he knew he could find a way. As the ship left he knew he would have to find a way to defend himself and make more money. But he would worry about that later for now just get there and find shelter.
(Time skip cause I say so)
The boat just docked and Y/n made his way off. he searched the streets for a place to stay but everywhere shunned him. So he found himself in an alley way. sighing to himself he wondered if this was the right idea. At that moment he got an idea. He was a smaller size child. surely some of the fine people here wouldn't mind sharing some wealth would they. No they wouldn't. armed with his plan he wandered into a market not far from his shelter. he wandered around and saw a perfect man to pickpocket a bit from. He snuck up undetected by the man. He reached his hand in his pocket and pulled out a fair amount of coinage; it was at least ten dollars. From there Y/n snuck away undetected or so he thought.
Man: GET THAT CHILD HE JUST STOLE FROM ME!
Y/n ran as fast as he could from the guards chasing him he pushed people out of the way. He didn't know why but for some reason this felt right to him to get money by undermining others. He ran as fast as he could around a corner then into a doorway hiding from guards as they ran by him. He had gotten away for now at least. From here he made way back to shelter and found his stash of money.
Y/n: If people wont be kind to me ill make them be.
