Arriving back at base the three found the command tent and entered. As soon as they entered Jinx was on y/n instantly hugging him for dear life.
Jinx: I was so worried you wouldn't come back.
Y/n: I wouldn't leave you so soon.
As Vier went to tell Caitlyn and Jayce about what happened there Y/n and Jinx decided to take a walk. As they left the camp they went down a small path that led into a forest like area. The duo eventually came across a small lake in a clearing. Sitting at the edge the two were just enjoying each other being there.
Jinx: How long do you think the fighting will go on?
Y/n: At least long enough for Silco to die after that no clue.
Jinx: Do you think we'll all survive?
Y/n: I promise you and I will. Vi is strong and she'll make sure Caitlyn is fine. Jayce has enforcers. Vier ill watch his back like always.
Satisfied with the answer Jinx nodded.
Jinx: Im just scared is all.
Y/n: Of what?
Jinx: That I wont be able to keep going and i'll die fighting.
Y/n: Back in the aces we used to have a song whenever we were moving around. It may help you.
Jinx: Really? How did it go?
Y/n: (Singing) May I stand unshaken, amid, amidst a crashing world
Jinx stood up and started to slowly sway back and forth. Y/n stood up still singing the song and held her by the waist while swaying with her.
Y/n: (singing) The pines, they softly whisper, he who drinks from the deep water
The two were idly swaying in each others arms. Y/n was singing to them slow dancing.
Y/n: I once was standing tall, now I feel my backs against a wall, may I stand unshaken
Unknown to the two of them Vi and Caitlyn had snuck behind them the entire time.
Vi: Well I can tell they're happy together.
Caitlyn: Yeah should we get them to meet the new guy or not now?
Vi: Let's let them be they can meet him later.
With that they left the two barely adults alone with each other again. As y/n finished the song he and Jinx were left staring into each others eyes. Y/n leaned in and kissed her for the first time in a while. After separating the two started giggling together like children.
Jinx: Well this was fun should we head back?
Y/n: Yeah lets.
The two walked back to camp together holding hands. As they made it to the gate they saw Vi there with a smirk on her face.
Vi: Where were you two huh?
Y/n: You should know you thought you were sneaky.
Vi was left standing slack jawed as the two walked past her. As the two went into the main tent they saw familiar faces and a new one. He was around 5'11 with medium length blonde hair and gold eyes. He wore a full blue outfit the top was a jacket with a black undershirt. On top of his blue sweatpants he had a belt with a type of feathers on one side. In a sort of holder was what looked like a stack of cards almost.
Jayce: Ah there you two are this is Leo he was found by the team on the separate mission from yours y/n.
Y/n: So im guessing he's here to help us?
Jayce: Yep you guessed right he has a magic ability called summoning.
Y/n/Jinx: Whats that do?
Leo: Here let me show you.
He stood up as Jinx and Y/n were giggling at them talking at the same time. He pulled out what looked like cards and held five in his hand as the rest were in the holder. Pulling one out he brought it over his head before bringing it down. As he brought it down a portal opened and out came a tan man in gold armor that looked like a bird.
Leo: This is ra's disciple a monster I can summon. Each creature I can summon has special abilities. The stronger ones usually require me to do something in order to bring them out.
Y/n: Like what?
Leo: Ill explain as I use them cause itll take to long right now.
Y/n: If you say so.
Jayce: Alright Leo, Y/n, Jinx get ready im sending you all out to destroy a shimmer facility tomorrow morning.
