Saving That Broken Smile

Chp 1

Elsa POV

So we finished college and we all decided to move in together so we'll never be apart. Hiccup's dating merida, I'm dating Jack and Punzie's dating Flynn or as we call him Eugene. Hiccup brought his dog toothless with him and I have to say he's adorable he's a large black dog who will lick you to death but when we're in trouble he gets very protective or at least that's what hiccup says but there's something up with toothless almost like he's not really a dog but something else. I try asking hiccup about it and he acts strange and changes the subject almost instantly. Weird right? I swear it's almost like everyone is hiding something. I mean I am hiding something that I haven't told Jack yet. Merida and Punzie know and they told Eugene and hiccup but I told them not to tell Jack because maybe I was imagining things. It happened yesterday while I was walking home from the park.

~flash back~

I went to the park to clear my mind about if my dad ever escapes from jail, what he would do. So I went to the swings and swung for a little until I got this feeling that someone was watching me. I got off the swing and started walking back. It was anyway dark outside. I passed by a dark alley and I could've sworn I saw someone looking at me with strange yellow eyes. I looked around but when I looked back the eyes where gone. I was scared and by then I was running home. I heard footsteps running behind me. I looked back and saw a man dressed in a black robe type thing that looked like a dress, sleek black hair, grey skin, and those strange yellow eyes I saw in the alley. He gave me a very scary smile.

"hello elsa" he said to me. How does he know my name?

" H-how do you know m-my name a-and who are you?" I asked him trying not to show him that I'm scared

"I'm pitch black. You might also know me as the boogeyman and of course I know your name I've been following you since you were young" he replied. Wait a minute my mom used to tell me about him. She said that he was a bad man and that he was responsible for the nightmares I have. But wait he's been following me since I was young what does he mean? Was he reasonable for my mom and sister's death? I had so many questions to ask him but when I looked up he was gone. So I ran the rest of the way home and luckily only Mer and Punzie were home so I told them everything that happened and they looked shocked and helped me to calm down and I told them not to tell Jack but they could tell Eugene and hiccup. So when they got home they told them and now everyone knows but Jack and they all agreed that if I go somewhere someone will go with me and Eugene said I need to tell Jack so I decided to tell him tomorrow.

~end of flashback~

But mark my words I will get to the bottom of this but for right now I better go downstairs with the gang because I ignored Jack all night last night because of the whole pitch thing and I've decided that I will tell him what happened.

Jack POV

Hmm..... Elsa's been up there in her room for awhile now I wonder what's going on. She ignored me all night last night and it's getting me worried. I tried asking the gang about but none of them made eye contact and Punzie changed the topic to shopping. Something's up with Elsa and I wanna know what it is. We were all sitting in the living room and I was about to go check on Elsa when I saw her coming down the stairs. Everyone immediately looked at her with worried eyes. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!

"Elsa are you going to tell him" Eugene asked her. Tell me what and how come she told them and not me. I'm her boyfriend. I'm her protector.

She looked at me took a deep breath and began telling me everything that happened yesterday evening when she went to park alone.

Hiccup POV ( bet u didn't see that coming)

After Elsa explained to Jack what happened he had a mad and shocked face. I knew why but that's a story for later on. He looked at me and I knew exactly what it meant.

"oh no" he said. Everyone looked at us confused.

"jack what's wrong and why did you look at hiccup like y'all know who he is and stuff? What are y'all hiding?" Elsa asked. Well better tell them now. I looked at Jack.

"well hiccup mind explaining. Everything this time. No more secrets tell them everything. " he told me. Well here goes nothing...
