After the war had finally ended Sandy had many outbursts which resulted in public incidents, so he was prescribed with mandatory therapy sessions for his what someone had said 'ptsd'. During one of his sessions his therapist had suggested yoga to help with stress, as he still had the urge to mangle anything in sight if the world became too much, so he went to the local gym and walked to the yoga area. As he was walking he heard the sound of a punching bag getting pounded into next year, but before he could do anything the instructor showed up; asking everyone to find a spot they then shut the doors to create 'serenity'.

"Today was good for our first session, I can not wait to see you all next time" the instructor had said jovially to the group as everyone was dismissed. Sandy huffed at that and started to walked out the doors then he remembered the punching bag person and went to see if he could figure out who was getting such nice hits in. Life however didn't want him to know because the gym area was packed full of people. With a sigh he walked out the doors and headed for his boat house. Along the way he realized he didn't have any food, so he headed to the grocery store near the gym. As he was looking through the isles he saw a cat demon trying to reach for the quick meals that he usually ate now days. He stared for a bit, watching as the smaller demon kept leaping for the very top shelf, until he walked up and grabbed two meals for himself and handed another two to the cat demon. They looked between the meals and him for a bit, then said in a very soft voice

"Thank you" as they ears flattened a bit. "You're welcome" he said after a few moments letting a strange and awkward atmosphere fill the space between them both. He didn't know why either of them weren't moving until the cat seemed to gain some courage and speak more loudly

"I saw you at the gym, did you just start yoga classes?" They asked him and sandy nodded then thought back to earlier "I don't remember seeing you" he stated and the smaller demon smiled sheepishly

"No, But you probably heard me on the punching bag though" they said wringing their hands together. His eyebrows went up at that statement.

"That was you?" He questioned to which he received a small nod and as the cat had to crane their head up to meet his eyes. "Yes sir, that was me" their voice started to get softer again. He let out a deep chuckle

"Don't need to be so formal, the names sandy" he said as he reached out a hand. The cat stared at it then put the two meals under one arm and shook his hand. Their smile grew wide "Smudge" they replied. 'This yoga thing might not be so bad' he thought as they paid and left the store, parting ways as they each headed to their respective homes.
