You don't necessarily need to be intelligent to survive. You just need to be fearless...brave enough to show everyone that you're worth surviving.
Fear was said to be the strongest predator in the food chain.
Sung-ho's attention was still in daze after ending the call with his sister.
It was the first time she acted so out of character especially the part where she told him something unbelievable.
The fact that they're far from each other made his stomach churn in a bad way.
Sure enough he's tired since he had performed three surgeries straight, but he was never tired when it comes to his younger sister.
"Yah, Sung-ho. Let's head to the entrance now. The patient will arrive in 10," a fellow doctor called out to him. Sung-ho returned his phone at his pocket.
"Be careful to not be bitten by her.."
(Y/n)'s voice rang in his head.
He wanted to leave the hospital if he could.
He knew it's just an assumption, yet, as if he's so sure, he can't help but feel discomfort.
Sung-ho can't take it anymore therefore he retrieved the phone from his pocket again. Amidst of walking, he clicked her name in his contacts and called.
