(L/N) (Y/N) has always been my crush ever since 3rd of year of high school I met her thanks to Tsumu who she despises but they get along sometimes which I envy. But I got lucky when we went to the same college.

I got to see her everyday which is nice to see, though seeing her with another guy makes me insecure but eventually we got close despite being in different classes and departments we still got along and helped each other. And now here we are working adults who always rants about bill payments.

"Miya~"

It's (Y/N)! I turn around and saw her taking a seat near the cashier as she rest her head at the table.

"How's work?" I ask

"Sucks as usual they gave me extra work and now I can't have my day off"

I take a look at her properly and she does look tired and sleepy. I place a plate of her favorite onigiri beside her as I tend to the other customers.

"Sir, please if you won't let go I'm calling the police"

Huh?

"Oh come on don't be shy now, I know you like it"

"Sir please!"

I turn back my attention to her seeing a guy beside her trying to drag her out.

"Excuse me sir but I'm gonna ask you to step out of the place" I join in

He looks at me straight in the eye, glaring

"And who are you to tell me to step out? You're probably just a mere employee here" he scoffs

I glance at Y/N and she looks furious

"I may be an employee but I still have the rights to kick you out"

He looks at me as he starts on giggling slowly laughing loudly

"You, kick me out? Try me-"

"Sir-"

"Osamu, that's enough"

She scolds. Ah, she's really pissed off now

"Hiroto, I have tried my best to be respectful towards you since you're my senior but if you keep this up I will not hesitate on reporting you at our supervisor for the recent problems you have caused in and out of our office"

She glares

"As if you could report me" he teases

He attempts to pull her hand as I immediately push him away from her.

"YOU LIL SHIT! WHERE'S YOUR FUCKING MANAGER!" he yells

Catching everyones attention

"What? Can't reply? Scared to lose your job?" He remarked

"Our manager isn't around" I say

"Then your boss?"

"I believe you're talking to him right now" Y/N says

"Huh? This guy? The owner? Impossible. He looks too young to be a business owner"

"Well I'm afraid that you're mistaken about that sir for he really is the owner"

We all turn to the voice

"Fujiwara-san! What brings you h-here??" he stutters

"I'm here to dine. Good evening Miya and to you too L/N-san. I'm sorry for the commotion my sales manager had caused."

"You don't have to apologize on his behalf Fujiwara-san" I say

"Im afraid that I'd have to do it since he is my responsibility. Well anyways let's not talk about him"

"Wha-"

Y/N lets out a small laugh behind me as she immediately covers her mouth, holding in her laugh.

"Miya, I'd like to order a take out and can you deliver it to my place please? I still have to deal with this employee of mine"

He smiles as Y/N looked down, knowing what that smile meant.

"Of course, sir" I reply

He takes his leave dragging the nuisance with him as she lets go of my shirt, sighing 

"Are you okay?" I ask

"That senior of ours is the reason why I don't have a day off these days and I'm glad that he got caught"

She mumbles as I pat her head

"You did a great job and I'm proud of you"

She nods her head as she continues to eat and I left her to serve the remaining customers. I prepared for Fujiwara-san's take out calling an employee of mine after telling them to deliver it. So that they can go home right after.

I check back on her and found her fast asleep, I caress her cheek as she whines a bit, turning her head on the other side. I decided to close the shop early so that she can rest properly, I bent down to her level to admire her, tucking the strands of hair behind her ear.

"Y/N.."

Silence. I chuckle, slowly picking her up in a bridal style. She holds onto my shirt, leaning close to my chest.

"I'm home" She mumbles

"Welcome home, Love"

I smile. Who would've thought we'd end up together after years of having a crush on her.
