Chapter 1

I see my mom and dad dead again. Because of him. There being shot again and again by the peacekeepers. but then I realize it's only a dream.

I finally open my eyes to see the other kids in the orphanage trying to pour could water on me. "Run she's awake, Johanna's awake," Lily says.

She is the most annoying twelve year-old I will ever know "shit it's my first day at victor high," I whisper to myself. Suddenly I jolt out of bed and run to my area where I keep my cloths. I grab a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I don't bother to look my best for other people because they always hate me. I slip on my combat boots, grab a banana and my backpack and head out the door. I moved from district seven to the capital because the evil President snow made me. I run about a mile to school after seven minutes I'm finally to victor high. I got my axe in my backpack if anyone decides to do something to me. I make my way through to the some what large office. I meet the principal, Plutarch I get my schedule and locker combination. I walk down the halls to find my locker B36 after 10 minutes I find it its near the gym. "Yes!" I exclaim silently to my self. I get to look at my schedule to see I have

Math - first period

Gym - second period

ELA - third period

Social Studies - fourth period

Lunch

Science - fifth period

History - sixth period

Study hall - seventh period

As I'm looking down at my schedule I bump in to Someone "bitch watch out" I say and walk along. I find the math room and take a seat where Mr.flickerman told me to once the bell rings i do my work and get out of that hell hole. I go to my locker grab my gym cloths and go across the hall to gym I see a climbing and axe throwing station. I do a silent yes in my head but I can't let anyone know I've one the hunger games.

Finnick's P.O.V
I see the new girl ever since I bumped into me I felt a click ,like I know you click

Johanna's P.O.V
I see a boy staring at me he has bronze hair and is tan he's probably from district 4. finally the gym teacher explains the rules and we are free to do what we want. I go to the climbing station and climb to the top of the gym and sit there the rest of the class period.

When lunch comes I don't know where to sit. a girl with red hair and sea green eyes waves me over. I end up sitting next to the fish boy as I call him. "who are you" he asks.

"Johanna." I think I need to change my last name and fast I think ah ha pine. "Johanna Pine" I say. "who are you" I ask.

"Finnick Mason" he says casually. Mason Finnick it all clicks he's my twin I've been looking for. "hey slut"a guy says behind us then stabs Finn in the arm he screams like a girl. I pull the knife out and thow it at the kid and yell "Don't touch my Finny" his eyes light up but the group looks confused

"Johanna con I speak to you alone" he asks once we are far from the lunch room he asks "Jo is that you" I give my famous smirk to tell him yes. we hug for what seems like forever. but then the the redhead comes down the hallway she sees us hugging and starts crying "Annie wait" Finnick yells I run after her and say "wait I can explain" she looks at me like how could you but before she can speak I say "we are long lost twins" she stares at us in shock "wait are you Johanna Mason" she stutters. "shit" I say "I start to cry I killed innocent people i think I'm a murder. she gets up and runs "wait, please don't tell anyone"
