As kids, we all used to make silly promises and put all of our trust in friends they wouldn't break them. At the time, it seemed like the biggest thing in world but now they mean nothing at all.
As kids, we all had silly ideas of what we wanted to be when grew up; an astronaut, a princess, a teacher. But now, we have to make actual decisions on what we want to do with our lives. And now the thought of going near a child over the age of 2 makes me feel queasy.
My dream job now, would be to be a SkySport presenter for Formula 1 and I am currently one step closer.
During April, my dad bought our family tickets for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Italy. Long story short- I vlogged the whole trip and we got passes to tour the Mercedes paddock and I managed to persuade: Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and Daniel Riccardo for an interview.
The video went viral and BOOM. I now have over 5 million subscribers on YouTube, vlogging my days as a university student and talking all things Formula 1.
My viewers seem to love my Q&A's and my presumptions for the upcoming Grand Prix's. All the attention I've being getting is CRAZY. I've been invited to many F1 related events, asked to feature on Quadrant and people ask ME for photos and autographs.
I have no idea how to handle being a student and YouTuber at the same time, but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.
Now I balance my time with: Making content, spending time with my family and chauffeuring my three brothers to and from hockey games and practices. Why they would rather slip around on ice than sit and watch cars race around a track is beyond me.
