The Seventh Heir Book 2: The Rise and Fall of Scarm

Chapter 1

Ryeon's P.O.V.

Moon's possessed self rose into the air with a menacing red aura. "Oh how I missed physical form," Moon said in a distorted voice. "Moon this is crazy," I said. "It's Scarm you duo of dumbasses," Moon's distorted voice said. "Well whoever you are this is insane," I said. "That is the fucking point. God of chaos doesn't care about what's sane or not," Scarm said. I launched a lightning bolt at Scarm who blocked it with a magic shield. "Have you learned nothing?" Scarm asked. He launched a magic bolt at us and blew up the road. People who hadn't passed out for some reason started freaking out. "Oh I love the carnage," Scarm said hugging himself. "Now. You can go tell everyone in this pathetic world that I rule and if they don't submit they will end up like the poor souls who's life energy I took and stored. Bye bye," Scarm said before blasting us away with his magic.

We were knocked into another street and saw Scarm raise a giant tower of these red stones. "How are we supposed to beat that?" Natsuo asked. "I-I don't know," I said. I noticed one of my robot legs came off. "Damn it," I said. "We'll fix it later right now we gotta hide," Natsuo said helping me walk. 

We got to the Ranger station and saw Marshal freaking out. "Ohmygodohmygodohmygod," He said at an abnormally fast rate. "Marshal calm down," Natsuo said. "Oh my god. You guys are here. Do you know what's happening out there?" Marshal said. "An evil god is taking over the city by possessing Moon," I said. "Oh. I told you he was nothing but trouble. You should've arrested him when you had the chance," Marshal said. I sighed. "Look it isn't Moon's fault. He's not the one doing this.....exactly. It's his body but it's someone else inside of it," Natsuo said helping me over to my desk and sitting me down. "Well that's only a technicality," Marshal said. "Yes but an important one," Natsuo said. "Look Moon and the underworld are in trouble and we need to help them," I said. "Well I say that we blast the bad guy into the next life and boom the world is saved," Marshal said. "We blast the bad guy there's a possibility Moon dies," Natsuo said. "I don't see how that's a bad thing," Marshal said. Natsuo glared at Marshal. I sighed.
