I walked into work, his shining eyes and beautiful smile greeting me from the front desk, as he was sat next to the cash register.

On his rare weeks off from touring, Austin worked in the new store that was now housing his clothing line, Aspire and Create. I'd been working there since the store first opened, and seeing his smiling face, on most mornings, was the best.

God how I missed him when he was away.

I walked over to the counter, adverting my eyes from him, blushing as a smile grew on my face.

"Hey dipshit," he mocked, hopping down  from the counter.

"Hey asswipe," I retorted, "haven't you cleaned anything up for opening yet?"

He touched my chin, pulling my still adverted eyes up to meet his own.

"Nope." He popped the P.

Slowly, Austin lowered his face closer to mine. Our lips were close enough to touch, his breath warm on my face. I turned quickly, my face growing redder by the second, and walked back towards the stock room. I began avidly counting the boxes of shirts, beanies, and sweatpants to get my mind off of him.

I felt a presence behind me, lingering there long enough for me to turn around. Austin stood there, enough space between the two of us that it was innocent but still gave off an air of sexual tension.

"Maya listen.." Austin mumbled.

"Mhmmm?" I hummed questioningly at him, encouraging him to continue.

He began walking towards me, his long legs easily closing the distance between the two of us. "Listen, I---I um... I.." He leaned in and held either side of my face in both hands, kissing me hard and quick, turning on his heel as he strode back out the door he came in.
