I can't believe I've got a date with Valerie she's always with that one boy Shawn. I'm surprise he wasn't with her today. He's sort of a geek with a guitar l. I don't know how their friends Valerie's all social and had her group of friends and Shawn is antisocial.

Men she gives me butterflies. I seriously thought her and Shawn had something going. I guess its nothing but the way they act when their together I don't know like a couple. Like when there's a show and Shawn's performing Valerie's always in the front row cheering him on. Also when there's pep rallies they always sit by each other. Like this one time Yazmin had a bonfire in her back yard Shawn and Valerie were sitting by each other. They looked so comfortable and cute. They had a cover around them and talked the whole time. The way they stare at each other. Well in my case there will be no more of that because she caught my eye and I can't get her out of my head.
*NEXT DAY (VALERIE'S POV)
I woke up around 10:30 and decided to take a shower and get ready for basketball. I wore my black team shirt with grey shorts and my black ugly air forces. My hair was in a messy bunn.

"Hey Valerie how is your morning going so far?"
"Good actually because I am about to help Shawn right now and then play basketball!"
" Wait what ? That's where you wanted to do first??"
"It doesn't take long and I always help Shawn with this."

"Yay Jackie boo your the best!" screaming like a kid who found out their going to a water park.
* BORING CAR RIDE *
I turned on the radio and my favorite song comes on. Emblem 3 Chloe. I turned that up loud.

Jack and I jammed out to it and had a blast. He took selfies of us , they were scute. He took one with me laughing and driving and him starring at me. I told him to send them all to me.
"Val I'm posting this on instagram is that okay with you?"
"Sure why not ."
We arrived at Shawn's house. Jack had a dumbfounded look and I laughed .
"Woah I didn't know his house was this big."
"You don't know a lot about Shawn." I said smirking at him.
We walked inside and was greeted by Shawn's sister Yazmin.(I know his sisters name is not Yazmin)
"Hey Val Shawn's upstairs waiting on your arrival."
"Thanks " I said walking up the stairs to his room and oh my gosh it was a mess, but you know who cares .
I opened the door and screamed "Shawdy !"
He opens his arms and asked " hey nutcracker , how was your beautiful morning?"
"Beautiful as ever so you ready Shawdy ?"
"Yeah everythings set for the video."
I pushed play and the music started. I don't know but when Shawn sings all my fears disappear and I only hear his voice. Its like his voice is my protection. Its just so beautiful and he has his own way of making the song like his. What I mean he has his own voice. When he sings I go into this state of mind and I know he's there too but its really quiet .
When Shawn was done I pushed stop and he starts doing his editing .
Wow Shawn i didn't know you were that good of a singer."
"Um thanks I'm sorry your name is Jack right?"
"Yeah that's me ." he said with confidence.
"I hoped you enjoyed it Valerie ill talk to you later."
"Yeah ofc love you Shawdy."

We walked out the house saying bye to Mrs. Mendes and into my ranger rover.
"VALERIE!"
"Yes Jack ?"
"Um are you ready to get your ass whopped ?"
"No honey because I just opened a can whoop ass and imm use it to whoop you." he laughed and got in the car .

Jack played music while we got prepared to play.
