Fan Fiction Base (no yaoi, no yuri)

yahari ore no seishun: Hachiman X Yukino

(For all of those who haven't see this, fully recommended. Season 1 is already done, season 2 is out on all kinds of pages to view)

Hachiman opened his eyes only to see the sun shining throught the window, he sat up on his bed, with a crow-nest-like head, he groan and yawn before saying

"Let's start another boring day of the inexcuseable human life shall we ?"

Suddenly a voice rang out from below the house

"ONII CHAN ~ COME AND EAT ~"

Slowly, Hachiman get his leg out of the blanket, he drag his heavy, sleepy body to the washroom, after 15 mins later, he's finally done he then proceed to drag his body to the Dining room where his sister is waiting with the apron and the school uniform like always. He sat on the table as he thinks while waiting

"Wake up every morning, eating breakfast and go to school, that's all there is to a teenager's life.......Exceptional is when you have a little sister"

His Sister cuts in the middle of his thoughts as she put the plate down before him and said

"Onii chan, are you thinking something obsured again ? Come on, eat up before we are late !"

Hachiman look at the plate, it's an omelet FILLED with tomato and onions, then he looks at his sister groaning

"Itadakimasu.....Tomato again ? I hate tomato....."

Saying all that but he still proceed to slice off a piece of omelete and put it right in his mouth without hesitation, while his sister talking with a mother-like tone

"onii chan, you shouldn't be picky about food, tomatoes are good for you !"

After the meal, Hachiman stood up and said

"Gochisosama Deshita"

He head out to the door and went to school. With the walk of a dead man, he walks along the road that leads to school, when he reached the gate he look up and continue groaning

"Another day i suppose"

Suddenly he felt an impact coming from behind him, he turn back and saw Yui with her side bun-up hair walking along side her is Yukino. Yui greet him with a smile and joyful voice like usual

"good morning Hikki !"

following up is another greeting from Yukino

"Hello Hikigaya-Kun"

Hachiman, like always, replied with a forceful smile and said

"H...hi...."

The day past by slowly, finally, it's time for the club activity, Hachiman walks on the hall that leads to the club room, as he was reaching for the door creak, the door suddenly opens with Yui rushing out and bumping into him. Yui groans in pain, but when she realize she was laying on top of him, she blushes like a tomato, and said

"So...so....sorry Hikki !!! AH damn, i gotta go now, later"

as she stood up and rushes off the building. Hachiman, still standing there, speechless, looking into the club room where Yukino is drinking tea as always. He came in and sat on his usual seat, then he lean back and look up at the ceiling. Silent, deadly and cold silent, eventually he had to ask

"So......where is she going ?"

with a cold voice, Yukino replied

"I don't know"

And that was the end of the conversation, no other word was told from both of them. Again, silent, a boring silent. Hachiman became bored eventually and fell asleep. When he woke up, Yukino was infront of him, with her hand on his forehead, she said

"You are heating up like an oven, you should probably go to the infirmary"

"yeah maybe i......."

Before he can even stand, Hachiman felt a daze over his heat, a sudden stroke of headache and dizzy. He manage to get to the door but what then ? Yukino, in this situation, has no choice but to guide him to the Infirmary. She place her hand on his chest and back then start walking out of the club room. Hachiman laugh and jokingly said

"heh, never would have guess you are helping me right now. Is this what they call friendship ?"

"Don't be absurd, i don't wanna be frame to be the murder of a useless teenage geek ! This is a gesture of kindness, so you should be grateful"

When they reach the infirmary, Yukino opened the door, only to see an empty room with 2 beds beside a window looking down to the school yard. She sigh then lay him on the bed, she hastily said

"Then, you should be able to take care of yourself, i'll be going now !"

And walked out of the room, leaving Hachiman there, thinking about some philosophy of human nature again. Half way back to the club room, Yukino suddenly felt a pinch in her heart, it as if she was....worrying for him ? She stop mid way, looking back to the infirmary. She decided to head back, when she got back to the room, Hachiman was asleep, his temperature keeps on rising, his body is over heating. As soon as she knows that, she rushes to the sink, took out her handkerchief and dip it in water, she rushes back to him and place a folded handkerchief on his forehead. She sat there with him, waiting for him to get back up, hoping that he's OK. Hachiman was half awake so his visions are still blurry, he saw an image of a Yukino, he reaches forward to grab her hand and said

" I'll be fine, miss cold-face"

Then fall asleep. Yukino after hearing those words, felt like the weight in her chest got lifted, she gave out a sigh of relief. She doesn't admit it but she's glad he is ok. When Hachiman finally woke up, it was night already, he sat up on the bed but suddenly stop due to the scene that he sees. Lies before him is Yukino, laying on his bed, sleeping, looks like she waited for him to wake up. He then take off the blanket of the bed and put it on her, he sat there and whisper

"Action like these might make people misunderstand the situation at hand........."

Then, for so long, he smiled then he kiss her on the forehead and whisper

"Then again, i'm a liar......."

He sat there for her. That moment felt like eternity until a big thumping rushes toward the infirmary, the figures pushes the slide door and yell

"WHAT TIME IS IT YOU RASCAL ??? GO BACK HOME NOW !!!"

Turns out it was the guard of the school surveilling around it, he saw the light in the infirmary and rushes towards it, result in what just happened. Obviously, the noise woke Yukino up, he put out his hand as a gesture of kindness and said

"Come on.......time to go !"

She smiled toward him and take his hand. After they got out of school, Hachiman walks with Yukino along the way, they didn't say a word to each other, it was silent, but unlike the silent before. This is the silent that mixed up with joy and teenage love. Yukino finally speak

"I....I can go home by myself"

"I can't let a girl who help me back there go home alone.......it's common gesture, don't misunderstand"

She smile again as she replied to him

"You are a terrible liar......."

They walk together on that empty road, silently roaming through with the gust of wind carrying a cold breeze. It was a small and insignificant moment but it connect two seperate souls, created a bond out of misunderstanding, it was a youth romantic comedy wrong as Hachiman would have expected it, "the liar" and "the iced-beauty"
