You rushed out the gate of the house, not even having time to close it as you dashed down the street.
'Mom's definetley gonna kill me for that later' you thought to yourself, backpack halfway open, wrapped bagel in your mouth, your shirt still not fully buttoned and your 4c hair becoming poofy in that slick bun you were trying to pull off. (GIRL, it's not working.). You were so close to using your quirk to get to school faster, but you knew that'd absolutely destroy your uniform. As if this day couldn't get any worse you were hungry. Starving. You didn't have enough time to eat due to you being 47 minutes late this morning. If that wasn't bad enough, your big sister would kill you as soon as she realize you'd left home without getting your little sister ready for school. There was a schedule when it came to taking my little sister, Mira, too school. Today was your day but you were completely focused on getting too school that you'd forgotten about her.
You stopped in your tracks contemplating going back home too see if there was anything else you could do. You let out a deep sigh and kept running.
'Sorry sis, but this is a one in a life time opportunity.' You attempted to reassure yourself, you noted to buy her katsudon later on your way home.
You checked your phone, taking a quick glance at the time. 8:54 A.M. You had 6 minutes left to get to class and you were still atleast 20 minutes away.
'Fuck I should've moved into the dorms as soon as I got the request too, I wouldn't have to be doing this shit right now.' You cried on the inside wishing you didn't have to do all this running. There had to be something you could do. That's when the thought of using your quirk came to you again. You really didn't want too, but it seemed like it was really the only thing you could do at this point. You slid to a stop near an intersection.
The cars were moving way too slow, the lights seemed to be changing at a slower speed than humanly possible. You tapped your foot impatiently. You glanced at your watch again, 8:57.
This was your last straw.
You simply took off your shoes and socks, rushingly placing your socks in your shoes. You'd been running for a while now, so the fuel for your quirk would be no problem at all. You positioned yourself, chest looking directly at the sky as you silently cursed yourself again for even being late. Just then, explosions began appearing from your feet and you darted into the sky. You were now above the intersection, looking over the land infront of you, looking about 3/4 to your left, that's where you saw it. The place you had got accepted into. The start of your destiny. You're new school.
