"Hey look, it's your girlfriend"

Before I start I want to let you know that the picture (which was taken a couple months ago), and the first three chapters, are 100% true except for the bisexual part, and just happened today and yesterday, February 16 and 17, 2022. Everything else is fiction.

Simone's  POV:

I headed to music class, the second to last class before dismissal. I sat down next to Arianna and Julianna to her left. We did vocal warm ups for about 15 minutes when Mr. A, the music teacher, pulled up How Far I'll Go from Moana on YouTube. We sang as a class, " I've been staring at the edge of the water, long as I can remember, never really knowing why..." I loved that song so much. The teacher said that two people could come up and sing some parts by themselves and the rest, the whole class. For our enrichments, we stayed as a class and never split up, same for all classes. So anyway, Matthew and Evan C volunteered. They started and Evan sounded like he wasn't even singing it. Mr. A paused it, "Are you even singing it?" "No," Evan P and someone else said, "He's singing, 'I wake up in the morning and I step outside, and I take a deep breath, and get real high.'" Mr A. Shook his head but slightly and silently laughed through his mask. Alex switched with Evan and they started. Once the class and me heard Matthew sing we laughed and giggled a bit, not to be mean, they were just goofing around. The drum fell over many times and everyone would break down in laughter. After their/our performance we all clapped. Olivia, Reese, and Nicole offered to all go up at once. As they walked up, my crush, Zaven looked back and Julian said, "Hey look, it's your girlfriend." Zaven turned to the front embarrassed. I looked at Olivia, "Bro, it was just a joke." I went warm inside, but was a little sad that he didn't like me back. Olive (I call her that sometimes), didn't hear what they said. Nicole, Olive, and Reese sang and they sounded so great together. After we sang we don't talk about Bruno twice from Encanto, afterwards, we left to PE. I ran to Olive, "Did you hear what Julian said, 'Hey look, it's your girlfriend.'" "To who?" "Zaven!" Me and Olive both liked Zaven. "That means he likes you Olivia!" I said excitedly. She smiled. "How long have you liked him?" "Since fifth grade." She replied. She's liked him for almost two years! I've only liked him since the beginning of sixth grade, 2021. Yeah she needs him more than I do. I glanced at Julianna, whose hair blew in the wind, I think I've found myself a new crush, I thought to myself.
