It's almost the end of August. School will start soon. Am I worried? I don't know. I'm rather curious about my new human anatomy class. Of course, I'm well acquainted with human anatomy already, but I haven't been able to see a cadaver yet.
Attached is a drawing I made of Millicent. She is a gorgeous creature.

Hux closes his journal, and sighs. Yet another year of boring classes. The summer had been uneventful but relaxing - his classmates all went and hung out at the beach or travelled to far-off places while he stayed in the town of Coruscant and went for walks in the forest. His parents were busy with their own jobs, and Dorian had his own friends.
But now, his relaxation had come to an end. Many of his classmates had returned to town in time for school, and they brought their own summer spirit with them.
Hux slips his journal into his bag and gets up from the log he was sitting on. He checks his watch. It was almost dinner time - he should probably head back to his house before it got dark. He returns to the trail and starts to head back.
Lost in his own thoughts, he didn't notice the voices until a group of teenagers crash through the bushes in front of him. He freezes in shock.
"Ahh! We're so sorry!" says one of the teens - he assumes she's a girl. She has tan skin, freckles, and wavy hair tied up in a ponytail.
Hux narrows his eyes. The teens are wearing casual clothes and they don't look like hunters. "Why are you in the forest?"
"Ah, so, funny story," says the girl. "We are... we're kind of lost."
Hux tilts his head. "Lost..? There's a trail right here."
"I told you!" said the boy standing next to the girl, he looked to be about Hux's age and wearing some 'scene' clothes with brightly coloured hair. "You said that that wasn't a trail! I was right! Ha!"
The girl rolls her eyes. "Ignore him. So we just follow the trail and get back?"
Hux nods uncomfortably. Actually, the trail was made by his parents, and it leads straight to his house. The other way down the trail ends at a big lake, and just more forest.
She smiles. "Okay then! Lead the way."
Now that he thinks about it, he recognises these people. He vaguely remembers the girl from last year's maths class. What was her name? Something like Sophie. And he's seen the other boys around the school. But not the scene kid.
He looks away. It doesn't matter anyways. He starts walking down the trail, keeping a comfortable distance from the others.
In just a few minutes, they came out of the woods and arrived into Hux's backyard.
"Whoa. Who's house is that?" says the brown-haired guy.
"Mine," says Hux primly. "Now, if you will kindly get off my property-"
"Dude, your house is so cool!" says the other boy, interrupting him. "Kylo's mom has a mansion over in the suburbs, but it's nothing like this."
Hux rubs his eyes, trying to keep calm. "So why don't you go-" but he's cut off yet again, this time by the scene boy.
"Dorian?" he says, eyes lighting up as he sees Hux's younger brother, who was sitting on the porch and seemingly doing homework. "Hey! How's the karate going?"
Dorian pushes his shaggy red hair out of his eyes and looks up at the him. "Kylo? How'd you get here?" His eyes focus on Hux, and he gives him a slight smile as he notices his impatient expession.
"Michael wasn't lying, little man, your house is insane. Your parents are in business, right?"
"Hux, what are these teenagers doing on our property?" Hux cringes internally as he hears his father's voice. "I told you and Dorian that there will be no parties."
The girl steps up. "We're very sorry, sir. We'll get off your property immediately." She nudges her friends and they run off to the road. Hux catches himself staring at the back of the scene kid, Kylo.
He turns around to face his father. His father wasn't much bigger than him and certainly not taller, but he had that intimidating presence that made him a good businessman. And he was also currently carrying a gun and a dead raccoon.
"You need to listen to me more. I know it's the summer, but that doesn't give you an excuse to bring friends to our house. We moved here for a reason. And stop that twitching, it's unprofessional."
Hux didn't respond. It was a short lecture, but it stung. "Yes, father," he said in a monotone voice.
"I'll hold you to it. Dorian! Do you want to help with this raccoon?"
Hux pushes open the sliding back door and enters the kitchen. His mother smiles at him, but he's known her long enough to see that she was forcing it. "There you are, little moth! I've made some pasta."
He serves himself a plate and sits down at the table, staring at the spot where his older brothers used to sit. He had vague memories of a time before the incident, where they would all sit together and talk and eat dinner. Now it's often just him, Dorian, and Mother.
"So, are you excited for school, Brendon?" Mother asks.
"I suppose. I'm looking forward to quite a few of my classes." It wasn't a complete lie, but in general, he just felt apathetic about it.
They ate the rest of their meal in silence. Finally, Brendon put the leftovers in the refrigerator to bring for lunch tomorrow, and he headed upstairs.
The instant he opened his door, a fluffy ball jumped into his arms. He laughs. "I missed you as well, Millie." He carried his cat over to his desk, and then put her in his lap so that he could pet her and check Myspace at the same time.
He looked through his followers, and sure enough, there was the same boy as he met in the woods. Ben Solo - known only as Kylo online and in real life, apparently.
His breath caught in his throat as he saw a post from Kylo's profile. It was just a simple image of him lying in a pool of fake blood. Nothing compared to what he's seen on sites like Gurochan, but something about it being him made it different. He stared at the post for a moment, then finally tore his eyes away and closed the browser window. He shut off his computer.
As he sunk into bed, he couldn't stop thinking of Kylo, covered in blood. He gently stroked Millicent, who was curled up next to his stomach. "Millicent, I think we may have a slight inconvenience."
