Chapter 5 : Destined to be a tool

"I don't know what you mean..."

"You can't fool me Suzune. I know my sister better than anyone else."

I just fiercely shut my lips in fear. Why was everyone in this school this good. I don't think I will be able to hide my reincarnation from them for long.

"Staying silent huh..."

It was coming...

He readied his fist,

"I have more methods to get answers from you in case you forgot."

"..."

"Still silent huh... who is it?"

"Huh?! what do you mean Nii San."

"You wouldn't change overnight. Something must have happened while I was here for two years. So who is it?"

This guy was ridiculously observant. But nothing really had happened. Heck I wasn't in this body for 2 months let alone 2 years.

"Nothing happened."

"I see... I'll trust you Suzune. If you've really changed, then good for you."

He removed his hands from my collar while dusting off his clothes.

"I'll be looking over you class Suzune. Struggle as much as you want. Whether to wither away or bloom is your choice after all."

With those words he left the place. I took a deep breath. I really needed to have sex right now. I was a 26 year woman mentally after all. 

Jeez that sucks.

"Yo"

I jolted in shock. There standing in front of me sipping his drink from a can was the annoying protagonist. Why the hell was he so obsessed with me?

"Ayanokouji Kun perhaps you spectated the entire even which took place here few moments ago?"

"I would be lying if I said no"

He said while throwing a can of drink over to me. I grabbed it and started to drink. All that tension made me thirsty. I sat beside Ayanokouji Kun on the bench. I was still on my guard considering he had doubts about me.

"So... what now?"

I asked him.

He looked at me in confusion, "Do you perhaps mean today's events in the class? It was certainly interesting expulsion being the punishment for failing."

"Do you think it is a bit too extreme?"

"That's for the school to decide. We are mere students who operate under there rules." He said while throwing the can in the bin.

"But... can't we like change those rules? Isn't that what it means to oppose tyranny. Levying expulsion's on failing is just...too unethical ."

In my previous world, if any school would have dared to to this. The twitter mobs would have destroyed that school for sure. This was akin to eliminating mentally challenged people just because they aren't well enough. Just because your bad in academics...you have to give up your dreams?

"I disagree Horikita. Humans aren't born equal. Some are gifted while some aren't"

He stood up,

"The only choice you have is to strive to become equal. Even if you change those rules, there is bound to be a loophole which the gifted will exploit. Trial and error might work in a smaller scale but how many rules do you plan to change? No one can change the rules under which our universe works."
