Y/n and her adoptive family the Evers are on an adventure to the lake but sadly had to stop at an old mansion and have to stay the night.
While there she meets a mysterious man named Edward Gracey the owner of the house, she feels as if she had met...
We were led into a beautiful dinning room the table was long the chairs were detailed. This could be perfect inspiration for a painting and if I had money I would buy it.
"Y/n have you ever seen a fireplace as beautiful as this" Sara asked. I shake my head "No. But it's beautiful. I've never seen a fireplace this detailed before" I exclaimed. "Haven't you" a man began, I turn to my left to see the man in my dreams and my hallucinations. He continued "My grandfather spared no expense into building this mansion" I nodded shyly as he smiled.
"hi i'm Jim Evers of Evers real estate. Pleasure to meet you" Jim chirped wanting to sell his mansion fast and held out his hand to shake. The man just nodded awkwardly "Edward Gracey" he announced. "honey meet Mr Gracey" Jim called for Sara, she went next to Jim.
"these are my children Megan and Micheal and my adopted daughter Y/n" Jim sang and we went next to the two. Mr. Gracey grabbed my hand softly and pecked it. I swear I could never be so red. I smiled widely "Charmed" Beamed Mr. Gracey.
"i'm hungry" Micheal and Megan said in unison, I giggled "well I'm sure Mr. Gracey has some food to eat. Don't you" I questioned. He nodded smiling "yes just this way" he guided us to the detailed chairs and long table.
Mr. Gracey pulled out a chair for me and I sat down Nodding as a sign for thanks. While Ramsley helped the others sit down. Mr. Gracey sat down across from me. And Jim asked if the house had termites "what do you think of the house Ms. Evers" Mr. Gracey asked bringing me out of my thoughts "Please call me Y/n. And to answer your question Mr. Gracey I think it's positively beautiful And I wonder what it was like whe it was full of life" I responded "Thank you and you may call me Edward. Y/n" he smirked.
"Mr. Evers your daughter is beautiful more than words can describe" Edward flirted, a smile hid behind my hand. "I agree Mr. Gracey BUT HANDS OFF" Jim roared.
Edward's whole persona changed into what I could only describe as fear. "tell me Mr. Evers do you believe in ghosts" Edward asked Jim. I once again zoned out. One thing I loathed is real estate don't get me wrong it's cool but Jim is always overly excited.
"The storm has swollen the river" Ramsley said 'what' "the road is flooded there will not be any leaving the mansion tonight" Ramsley says almost happily (Ramsley is not evil in this. he's couldn't cope with Master Gracey's death so suicide) "what!" Megan exclaimed. And I understand because we are supposed to be a the lake
"of course you may all stay here for tonight" edward says staring at me "sorry edward but we have plans" I apologized "I'm afraid there's no other way edward says almost robotically "Alright thank you" I smile knowing I get more time to get to know Edward.
He smiles widely at me "you're welcome my dear Y/n"
